Real or fake
Dear Sir/Madam,
I got an offer job thru the above Company i just wanted to ask an help whether this real or fraud
because i am quite hesitant to secure my visa and the agent is asking me amounting to $1230 to secure the work permit and residence visa thru europeanimmigrationexpert@comerciales.es under the name of Mrs. Ana Maria Lopez and my client name is Mr. Carlos Alberto, total-spain@informaticos.com, website: www.total-spain.com, they are offering me salary of EU14, 950.00
which is too high with my expectations, is this real.
Please find out for me and your reply is most wanted.

I am a subscriber of mobile no 9412185242 Etawah (U.P.). I entered recharge of Rs. 500/- in my mobile on 10-10-2009 with in two days balance left Rs.1.84pse . Again I entered recharge of Rs.50/- on 13.10.2009. I surprised all amount was evaporated without having conversation
then I contact BSNL office Etawah number of times but its employees and offices did not reply satisfactory and asked me to contact meerut office . I did the same meerut office informed me no of any service is activated is my mobile non but they could not tell me that how the said amount was consumed..
Sir I shall request you kindly to solve my problem with immediate effect.

Dear People,
I think the whole situation is a scam!!! I also go the same e mail message. The company offered me 14999 Euro. I was shocked when i got this message this morning. I wish Carlos and Anna can be traced, tracked down and arressted for this confusing scam and fraud.
They must be crooks. Please and please, dont listen to them.

I got the same email. I believe this is a complete fraud. I receive no offer yet but I'll try to respond on their email to see what will happen. Two things caught my attention, first the company name was misspelled on their company letterhead "petroluem" instead of "petroleum" and second Total is huge company with international operations, why use a @gmail.com account? There should be a company server generating such an email.
Thanks by the way for posting. I've check over this. Got a vocemail message from similar series of phone numbers but accidentally I have deleted the message.

I got the same email, called them. one guy told that he is Carlos Alberto and he said he is not aware of this scam information on the internet. They seem to be clever, to set up all these… But somebody should stop them ASAP. I found again from internet, they offer the same amount to all people, around 14000 Euro(or USD) which is not normal even for south africa… Also if they are willing to pay that much money, they can easily buy a plane ticket and send an invitation letter first. They won`t lose anything. That is how it works. But instead they ask money from you (around thousand Euro)…
If you get this email, please send to Spanish Embassy, or some authorities.

1) TOTAL - Senegal.
Its funny I just got the same e mail this morning, from the same guy and I was suspicous too.
No way would Total do this an unsolicited e mail with out posting the jobs on there web page, I am sure its a con but if you are desperate for work you will try anything.
I am ignoring it for now until I do some checking it looks fake.
2) Shell - Madrid.
Also got one this morning from Shell - Senegal treating that one the same, contacting Shell HR dept in Calgary, Canada asking them to check it out.

It is not possible that company is telling us to contact EU Immigration. And more than i have to say about his offer its really too much.14000EURO..Unbealivable.

it is a scam pure and simple from the alleged CARLOS ALBERTO and ANA MARIA LOPEZ band thugs what?? care must be taken and distributed these emails, because I also received a job offer for a salary of € 14, 950 (salary is more than a president). look at other people who were the same proposals on this link : Total Petroleum Fraud - False Work Agency.htm... short, they're crooks who want only 1230 €.

i got the same offer but did not believe it instantly as the package offered is too good to be true, i even foned the contact numbers mentioned and a guy by the name of Luis (he said he is from Ecuador) answered me on behalf of Mr. Carlos, he could not give me furher info and unable to answer my questions, insisting on me to send back the offer with my signature on it. I tried to fone Ms. Ana Marie Lopes also but is not reachable. I hope the concerned authorities of Total Petroleum-Spain would do the necessary action to stop this, so no one would end up being a victim. In this difficult times, people can easily believe but need to check-double check ten times the authencity of such job offers before making any reply.
