[Resolved]  TOTAL PETROLEUM SPAIN — Verification

I got an offer job through the above Company i just wanted to ask an help whether this real or fraud
because i am quite hesitant to secure my visa and the agent is asking me amounting to $1230 to secure the work permit and residence visa through [protected]@comerciales.es under the name of Mrs. Ana Maria Lopez and my client name is Mr. Carlos Alberto, [protected]@informaticos.com, website: www.total-spain.com, they are offering me salary of EU14, 950.00
which is too high with my expectations, is this real.

This is the new scam on the internet. There is no such company as TOTAL PETROLEUM COMPANY IN MADRID SPAIN. It's all in an attempt to solicit money from you. They will send you an acceptance letter and then say you must pay for a "processing" fee before your hire. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS. Also, if you reply to the email. Your email address is sold to others who will use your email address for other scams.

If it's too good to be true, then it's a fraud.

i think this is like A PETROLUEM COMPANY 3 YEARS AGO FROM AFRICA WHERE THEY ASKED YOU MONEY FOR THE WORK PERMIT ??'
I NEVER SENDED MONEY BECAUSE I ASK THEM TO SEND ME MONEY AND THE PERMIT BEFORE I SIGN AVERYTHING
AND THEY STOPPED WRITNIG ME.

offers like this that come from suspicious looking emailids - e.g. gmail, yahoo, etc. - and not from corporate ids should raise alarm bells. i do not ever open attachments. i usually contact the company directly to see if it's a scam or the real thing - has never been the real thing yet.

People should think several times wheather we qualified for the position or not, then wheater the position required to attend technical interview or not ... finaly I cheat, You cheat, We cheat

I am indeed sure that it's all scam and nothing short of fraud. I have not heard of any company by the name total petroleum spain. I did a quick check on the internet and discovered that they are bloody thieves. You can double check through one of such sites which revealed the dubious plans they have to defraud innocent individuals of their money.

I also got same offer 14, 950 and I think this is no true, becouse as i now .
When acompany offering you the have to take ceare for you visa .haw this company
asking us to pay for? In may saide i dont think is tru is fraud.

i got the same offer two day a go for the position of project engineer with 14, 950 euros salarly plus excellent benefits.

I have received also the above company offer, but certainly this is fraud. If they're asking certain amount for sure this is not real.

Perhaps, maybe the company is real but some people are using the name only and do the necessary nasty and unlawful behavior.

Its a big fraud!! look at the mail reply from Carlos Alberto himself- who was kicked out of Total Spain for his scam.

I got the same email. I believe this is a complete fraud. I receive no offer yet but I'll try to respond on their email to see what will happen. Two things caught my attention, first the company name was misspelled on their company letterhead "petroluem" instead of "petroleum" and second Total is huge company with international operations, why use a @gmail.com account? There should be a company server generating such an email.

Hey i too have got the same offer from a different company'Voltasol' and when i contacted them the one's who wrote an email actually speak to you.
But they do not pay for ur visa and travel.
