[Resolved] Unique Identification Authority Of India [UIDAI] — AADHAR CARD
NON ACCESSIBILITY OF REGISTRARS FOR AADHAR CARD I am living with my family in Chennai and have been trying for the last 10 days to get an application for enrollment for the Aadhar Card from the authorized banks in my area and surrounding areas. Everybody says that they have closed the processing work and the application forms are exhausted. I am sincerely interested to get the cards for me and my family members. At present I am totally helpless and I do not know where to approach for the Card. I am sure that many people of Chennai would be facing the same situation. With this complaint, I am requesting the authorities, to give more publicity about the Card and publish the list of enrollment agencies, area wise, It is really shameful for the UIDAI as their distribution work is not effective. They have the facility of enrolling through online for selected areas of North India only. Why they have not extended the same facility to other parts of India. I would suggest that the company should start online enrollment immediately and give proper publicity in the dailies. If the work goes at this speed, it would definitely take many years to complete the work. I hope the authorities would understand the problems of the public and do the needful immediately. Alternatively, they should arrange for house visits. U.K.S. SRINATH Was this information helpful?
