I too received a call from person. He said he is from haryana and want to sell me the Gold biscuits.
Probably he got my Number from Quikr ad which i posted few days ago.

He was a SCAMMER!! Do not fall for their Traps.

yes i got the same call from number [protected]. The way he talked you same way he talked to me. Is anybody beside you, want to talk you alone i god gold while digging n all same no difference as he said you... i said I'm not interested and I cut the call.

I received similar call from a number [protected]. The person said " My name is Rahul, I am a JCB operator, while digging he found a few gold biscuits" I cut the phone.
I traced the service provider to be Vodafone in Rajasthan. This guy has a Rajasthani accent.
Is there any "Gold Biscuit" scam going on like Nigerian Scam.

Yup, even I got a similar call . Looks like there is already such scams happening around, but I did not say am not interested, instead I pretended to be interested and striking a conversation with them. Let me see what all info I can get from them n will post it here ;-). After all it's a known fake call ryt, lol.

Yeah Guys i am also getting such type of Bull phone calls from [protected]. Who the bloody hell is doing such a non-sense with all. He is a stupid guy i think, b'coz if he wants to sell really then he should try in the local market why calling the unknown persons and a long Km's like 400-5oo apart your the near cities.

Can anyone has reported in the police or to the consumer cell regarding this????

I got a call to from [protected] when I traced the call it originated from Vodafone Rajasthan. He wanted me to visit his house and he has 10 kilos of gold biscuits that he found while doing JCB work in Bharatpur area. I was kind of getting into his story...it was very convincing, each time he told that he feared for his life and that he is telling the truth swear on his god. What I doubted was how he got my number which was private. He cooked up a story for that too that he got it from a fellow worker when he asked for a good reference to seek work. And I must say though there were loose holes in the story it still was neatly framed. He sounded like a professional crook. He made it even more enticing for me to come over take a few grams of gold, go back to your home and check if it is genuine and come with money if more gold is needed and pay half of whatever market rate is going on at that time. I almost fell for it as I have friends who are in the gold business and will readily buy them at less than market rate. He then told me to come alone not to bring or say this to anybody else. He told me to take how much ever time to test the gold he gives and not to also bring cash for the gold. Only if I'm convinced it is real gold and good quality, I can come with the money and buy them. He told his name was Raju Sharma. I was like telling him that if I come it will be with my friend who has more knowledge of both Rajasthan and Gold. Then he said he will hand over the phone to his father who too is very scared but he will also talk to you. Father was an acting father...it was the same person who changed the voice to a really old man and told me not to bring anybody else but come by myself. I just disconnected the phone as this was a giveaway to the otherwise good trap that this man was laying down for me. He will play the ransom game once I reach there alone and there were no gold biscuits or any gold anything. Then I did a little search on the internet and sure there were others who got such calls and I was not the only one.

Beware of such calls.

I just got the same call from Raju Sharma regarding gold he found while digging in his field in ahmednagar village Rajasthan. Looks like a crook. Sounded Fake! Number is [protected].

I got similar calls from two nos. originating from Rajasthan. beware of the crooks friends.

Unknown call — unknown call regarding prize

respected sirs today morning i got call from this number [protected] regarding a prize .he claimed that his name is raju and he spoke in hindi idont take any lottery or participate in any contest, so i think that this is a fake call, thats why i am reporting this

Today I got a call from another number [protected] who has a Rajasthani accent but name is Ashok this time. But exactly similar script of JCB operator.. He asked me to send 6000Rs so that he can come to Bangalore as he don't have money!!

Yes, Mee too got a call from Raju Sharma from Rajastan. Same story as told to bijujue32 . He is following me since more than 10days and asking me to come or send somebody for the gold sample. I think one o[censored]s must try to expose this racket. Other wise Any of our friend might fall in to their trap and loose miserably.

I got a similar call from [protected] saying that he name is Raju and JCB operator in Gujarath resident of Rajastan, come take 10grams of gold and get it checked the purity dont pay single paisa and if I'm satisfied I can take more gold from him. He asked me to come to Rajasthan to take the gold.

Well its almost more than a Year this Guy is operating and no one has nabbed him Yet !!! Got same call today and even before he could continue told I am not interested and Cut the line. Phone Number : [protected]

I got a call on 20th March 2015. Their latest number is [protected]. Calls himself Papu Sharma.

i have received call from a caller asking to purchase gold.. he said he found while doing excavation ...i told him inform government..

Got a call from this number: [protected] today afternoon asking me to help in selling gold in karnataka. Apparently the person on the other end (male) had 4kgs of gold & was calling from Rajasthan. He asked me specifically if i was in Karnataka. Upon saying yes he said he wanted help to sell the gold in karnataka. I told him he must be mad to make such an assumption. To which he said he was ready to sell it for half the price. I didnt want to go on further talking to him as i knew this was some sort of a scam and told him that i would complain to the police & disconnected the call.

It has been 2 years this gang is operating. Their new no is [protected] . My brother in law got same call. Interstingly he knew my brother in laws name and occupation(they get people name and no from Justdial)

He said His name is Rahul sharma his brother is JCB operator and he has found ancient gold coins and biscuits while digging in farm . He is poor person and want help in selling gold for this he ready give half amount everytime . He said as his grandfather is ill he can not leave his place and we had to go his place and check the gold for purity

When I just asked him if he can just courier that item then he smartly tackled me by saying that it weights 750 gram and cant courier it. As his statement was false firstly he said he found gold coins and biscuit, then he turned to gold bricks. This thing was enough for me to get on google search for this type of gang ;-)

I too got a cal. saying my name is rahul and am a JCB operator. since am poor there are chances i may get caught by police while selling so he wanna sell his gold to me. He is ready to give 100 gms of gold to me for testing its purity.


posting here this incidents ll not work. some has to go forward and complaint this to cyber crime dept. Am already trying to contact them and providing them the details so they can trace the cheater

I have been getting calls from a number [protected] named Raju. The theme and intention is all the same as mentioned above. This time he has mentioned the same story about the Gold but the region that he states is Haryana.
He has made me talk to his Father. I have got his brothers Driving license collected.
I have been following him for quite a sometime. He is not convinced with any pattern apart from have me travel to his place and see the gold. If satisfied by the material can take the BAR to who so ever and give him half the amount when sold.
Has anyone of you in this forum was able to get some more info on this?
