Volkswagen — False Commitment | |||
Hi, I booked a Polo GT TSI on 25th May 2013 through Volkswagen dealer "Elite Motors Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore". The Manager and the Sales Person committed that the delivery of the car would be done in 4 weeks time. Based on their commitment I applied for a loan and in the meanwhile sold of my old car as soon as I got a promising buyer. After 2 weeks, when I called the sales person Mr. Nizam, he straight away said that delivery will happen only after 2 months!!! Thereafter, I called the Manager, Mr.Raghu and he also stated some crap logic and justification for the delay in delivery. Later again when I called Raghu he said that delivery will be done only by 1st or 2nd week of August 2013 and when I questioned him regarding the value of this statement, he promptly answered that he will send an SMS confirming that the delivery will be in the 1st week of August. Later, he sent me an SMS stating that he will UPDATE me on the status of delivery by 3rd week of August!!!! Is he out of his senses or is this a culture followed at VW??? Needless to say, because of their callous attitude and irresponsible behavior, I am spending the monsoons without a car and the loan has been approved which has a validity period of only 30days!!! Can you please help and find out as to who is accountable for all this??? Should any customer be made to suffer just because he trusted the brand called Volkswagen??? It leaves me wondering how the after sales service would be if they are not concerned about giving a good buying experience to the customer!!!!
