[Resolved] Wipro — Horrible Switch gears

Hello, Pls give the Customer Care number for North West Switch Gear Mfg or WIPRO since it is now acquired by them. I am desparately trying to reach out to the Customer care centr to get my issue addresed. This is regarding the switch gear i purchased from a Northwest Switch gear dealer in Hyderabad. None of the switches in my house are working and i cannot even replace them with another make because the sockets are different. The switches are breakaging off from within on operating them plundering my home in to darkness. These are all moulded defects and as a customer i am disheartened with the same. I have also been experiencing a lot of problems with Northwest switches that have been used in my house. They didn't even last for 3 years and it has become very expensive to replace them. The switchboard is also pathetic as no other switch (say Anchor, or Maru, or any other standard firm's) fits into that socket. Hence I am being forced to buy Northwest switches again as replacement.

I raised this issue with the dealer on RP Road in Secunderabad but rather than addressing my grievance, they rather scoffed at me (as if I was the only one in India complaining about it)!

I have installed Wipro platia at my house just one moth back. Switches are getting stuck just within a few days after installation. I have given a complaint to the customer care. Still no response . ..Anant J.
