yes it happened with me as well and Rs 1480 was deducted from my bank as well.
yes this is true, Its one of the worst places to book a Ticket. The money just deducted from the account and the status came as cancelled . How can we get it refunded? they have provided some fake mobile numbers on site which always give switched off messages. I think they have designed the system to behave in that way so that they can just have money from hapless customers for free. ticketplease.com has duped us.
This same issue happened with me today, just a while ago i booke two tickets, money got debited from my card but my order status shows cancelled, i want my money back too.
Both their contact numbers do not work, both the numbers are shut. I think this is a part of a big fraud, no call center, no customer care to help !!
Pls beware and i want my money back too from these ticket please people.

This site is fake, I just booked four tickets for 720 rupees and after deduction from my account, it says ticket cancelled. Both the contact numbers on the site are fake and not working. I am going to consumer court if they dont reply me within 24 hours.

I totally agreed with this.. I have got promo code for discounts to purchase tickets from ticketplease. But at the time of booking it's not working. Company doing wrong campaign & totally this is worst place to book movie ticket.
Oops didn't see the review of this fraud website and lost some 450 bucks. Help desk number switched off, wao!! so i believe no one is going to refund any money, what u say folks? did you get your money back.

My 860 rupees are stuck with them. The customer care number is always busy.
