[Resolved]  Yamaha Motors India — Absolutely rubbish customer care - Orion motors bangalore

I would be very polite if I would be saying that Yamaha Motors has a totally rubbish customer service in Bangalore. I literally don't have words to define the type of customer care these guys have in place...pathetic..horrible...lame..18th century..blah blah..

When I bought a new FZ16..in January 2009, I was made to feel like as if they were doing a favor to me by selling the bike. The customer representative was so eager till the time I had not made any payment, that probably a cynic would be tempted to buy the bike then and there. And as soon as I paid them 60k (15k on delivery date), boy you should have seen there arrogance come into life. And finally, on the day of delivery, as expected I had a verbal fight with Orion motors, over the fact that I wanted to see the bike before making the final payment...and they won't let me...!!!..

Over the last 8 months, I got the bike serviced at Orion Motors - Bangalore (the one opposite forum) 4 times, and each of the time, the bike was not even washed properly, forget about the things which I could not see at that time (like engine tuning, brake oil, etc). And the last time things got really ugly, when I had an argument with the service engineer over the washing issue and the validity of my free service - and I was literally shoved off the office with the service engineer shouting on me from behind.

Absolutely rubbish this stuff. I start wondering what Yamaha does in these cases, as I have promptly given my feedback as "poor" everytime a Yamaha customer care representative has called. But, no changes whatsoever.

I just start feeling that I should rather go back to owning a Pulsar rather than a Yamaha. At least, their service is way..way..way better than Yamaha's and their customer service is outstanding (I have had days when I have talked for over 2 hours with a bajaj service engineer, and that conversation did not turn into an argument).

Hate to say this, but Yamaha has really left me no option than to become a Baja fan. Yamaha bikes are a definite "yes" over Bajaj's, but I don't think any of their customer is ready to loose out on the peace of his mind to a better bike.

i have got a yamaha fazer on 22nd of sep.09'. though company is giving a scratch card offer, but till to day i have not get the offer though i have received a SMS from your company. the dealer repeatedly returning me saying that there is a lack of supply of card from your company.they are giving date after date. plz take necessery action for the above mentioned problem .
Hi this is Vinay Sharma from new Delhi. I recently purchased a FZ 16 from Shiva Motors Delhi (Reg No: DL 5S AB 1303)and within a span of 3 months i found that the rear Alloy Wheel/RiM has got a slight bend in it. The bike hasnt even completed 3000 KMS yet, when i took the bike for the second serve they even refused to repair the alloy wheel. Its was realy bad to hear that yamaha does not provide any warranty for its Bikes.
This is what the service center says. What Yamaha writes in their manual is that they provide warranty for 2 years or for 30, 000 kms but their service center's disagree to the fact. Moreover they say that they don't want to get into the mess of filling up that replacement form that they get form the company for their products.
Please help me as am just pissed off. The bike is only 3 months old and they are not even ready to get that done.

I totally agree that Orion Motor is the worst I have seen till now. I have R15 that costs more than a lakh and the service given by Orion Motors is PATHATIC. If you give bad feedback then they will ask to bring the bike for service again and guess...they charge again for the service!!! amazing...!!! Now it is more than 3 weeks that they are not able to resolve the starting trouble in bike and the bike that is more than a lakh is lying idle for more than 3 weeks!!! Wonder when someone in Orion Motors will get some sense that they are running bike sales and service not for bicycle!!! Even there is no response form the incharge there Mr Uday..he does not even picks call...forget returning your call. Hope Yamaha people wake up sometime and see what these people are doing to their market reputation.

Panache enterprises in Indiranagar is no better. Their service and the way they treat customers is pathetic and lacks basic service sense. They act as if they are doing a favour by servicing our bikes, even the paid service. I have lost my tool kit there which I found out a little later and when I ahd gone back to ask them about it they just say you should have checked it when you got your bike back. They were the only ones who had my key for some time other than myself. Then after 1 month of my sixth service I see that my bike isn't starting. The reason I find out is that there is no water at all in the battery. They havn't even checked the water level during the service. Recently I had an accident and unfortunately had to go to them again. After alost 2 weeks of having my bike with them I test rode it to find that the speedometer is not working. They told me that there is some lose connection and it will be fine as and when I ride it. Crap, how can they say that? How can you give a customers bike back in not the best condition? later they tell me that some part is not working which they came to know at the last moment and they don't have it with them. So, I can come back again to have it replaced, at my cost. They also told me that they couldn't claim it for insurance as it doesn't come under insurance (crap, they did not find it out to claim when the insurance guy had come). I am sick of it. I was thinking of going to Orion motors which i had heard was good and I now read online that they are pathetic too. Is Yamaha even aware of what is happening? I would like to send this as a feedback too. I don't know where to go now for my bike service. Please help.

I would like to draw your attention again regarding a problem with the after sale service at one of your dealer "Excellent Yamaha" 1, Shanti Sadan, 45, Telli Park Road, Andheri (east) Mumbai where I have purchased FZ 16 Registration No: MH-02- BK- 1512.

Please find below my experience with my last paid service.

1) Servicing is not carried out in a professional manner. It’s better if I wash it at home with a hose and clean it myself.

2) They Charge us for filter and oil replacement, but when I checked the engine oil at home the same day, the oil was black and watery. I have been cheated by Excellent Yamaha and this matter is serious and could tarnish Yamaha India’s name. I have been using bikes since 23 years and never seen an unprofessional service center like Excellent Yamaha. This is day light robbery.

3) The rear excel nut was lose and could easily maneuver it with my hands.

My bick Last 3 visit service given surat dealers power bick all service done in dealers by power bick but last three visit service my staring noice & Front stude oil lickge & avarage poor (30kmpl) all time ripitedly complint by dealers by no bady responde to me. last time complint given by dealers not baddy attanding my complint & poor responce workshop side. Dear Sir,

I would add to Zubin's Complaint.Excellent Yamaha (Andheri) is pathethic.

They dont do the servicing properly...and the parts which we get from Yamaha company which would be replaceable by yamaha is not given to us on time and they keep on charging in very wrong methods.

Yamaha R15 being expensive cannot be done at local mechanic store and we have got stuck now taking R15.

I would never take yamha bike again.

in Yamaha SS125 i have purchased 4months before run only 5000/-+ Kmt already getting noise in Engine
i have left for repair in yamaha showroom that is Bangalore Wheels ( in Bangalore) on 11/10/2011 till
today they have not rectified it. from the day one there is a leakage of Engine oil at upper portion of the
Engine, they don't know how the clear the problem, this is very very bad experience with YAMAHA MOTORS
The Orion Motor is one of the worst service center..

I own SZX, I gave my bike for service at Orion motors who pretended as if they are best guys for Yamaha. I was give bike back after 9days say the issue is arrested.
Soon after I realized that my bike was never fixed infact it's condition was worst. it was turning off while driving & giving me a milage btw 28~30. Already i was pissed of their delay and the way handle customer. I took my bike to near mechanic who showed me how these guys messed up with my jet screw (which is used to adjust milage)

when i went back to let them know, In order to avoid re-work they wanted to keep bike for another for 4-5 days.. they said the pin was out of stock...
I went 3 to 4 time to get the small pin fixed but I was sent back with disappointment.

now when I left my bike for service I was told that they need to change my carburetor... can’t believe a bike of two year..can go bad to this extent that I spent close to 16k since I got Yamaha...
To add to more I spoke to Yamaha's company's Engineer who is the head for service in Bangalore... he adviced me to get the bike fixed by paying extra money.. listen to what everOrion people say.. he was not even bother to know what was wrong!

Yamaha has disappointed me. even with many attempts I was not able to bring pooor and pathic service to managements notice.
My sincere advice not to go Orion... if possible even Yamaha it's self. This incident reminds me of a proverb " All glittering is not Gold"

I guess.. .this way Honda always top in any automobiles. I was more disappointed as it was my first bike (brought of my own)... I made my choice with Yamaha just to discover only loss... utter waste of time and money in servicing.
orion motors bangalore has one of the most horrible sales n services in all over india, i think the permit given to this [censored]ing showroom should be immediately terminated, people in this showroom are so [censored]ing mean and they only think about the money whether they have done the servicing or not they will make the bill so high, I asked them to change the clutch lever instead they have changed the cable that also without my consent.
Hi I'm suneeth from bangalore, dear manufacturers of yamaha I'm looking to buy new r15 in bangalore and I booked it in ORION MOTORS. That time there was no any sales executive in that showroom and no one response properly. After that I booked r15 with 1000/- cash. Then one lady said that bike will be deliver after 15 days. After that when I came home my friend said about perfect raiders that day evening visit their they said they will give bike within 2days with some accessories. That's why i booked in perfect raiders. Immediately I called orion motors and I told them to cancel the order. Then that lady said they will give only half advance money (before they didn't said anything about it and they didn't mention anything in receipt also) that's why I called your karnataka yamaha representative and he convince me then he put conference call with orion motors manager he spoke with me very harsh. That people don't even know how to speak with customers. That's why I'm totally disappointed with yamaha dealers. After that Mr, avinash (perfect raiders) convince me for the reason I'm buying r15 in perfect raiders, otherwise I was planning to go for duke. Overall this complaint I'm giving you as feedback. You guys just teach them how communicate with customers

Worst service center in banglore. I book my bike and paid advance amount almost 45days i wait but they didnt deliver. Finally i got from bangalore wheels rajaji nagar.

i gave for service i ask them to change the bumper due to oil leak. They charged me 6500bugs. Ithin 2months again oil was leaking. I went to mechanic he ask me to chnge the bumper.. then u ask orion they said it was not change and they are not awarevthat last service was done by them. I showes the bill and blasted those supervisor they felt sorryvand again i paid 2000 for servicing.

recently i gave for oil service for a longvtrip.. they chargedc700. Within 320 kms i got aound frm engine and i check oil its fully dried..

hats off for yamaha to choose those type distributor and service center for only profit..
