Yebhi.com — Not refunding the money

I've placed an order for woodland shoe and I received it, I found it was bigger than the size that I actually ordered, so I called up the customer care and they arranged for the reverse pick up and the refund of my money was given to me as gift voucher. I used that gift voucher money 2095/- to buy a Micromax Q6 mobile which costed 5713/- from yebhi. The balance amount 3618/- was paid through net banking. This happened on September 2 2011. I found Micromax Q7 was better than the one that I have ordered so I called the yebhi and informed to stop the process since I need to change my order, and they informed me they cannot do it now and asked to receive the product after that I can return it to yebhi then change the product. Later one guy from customer support informed me to refuse the delivery from the courier company so that this process will work much faster. So I refused the delivery on 5th of September. The courier company has returned the product. I was informed that the product reached yebhi on 10th of September. I was asked to choose the refund type either cash back or gift voucher that I can use it again to purchase on yebhi. I informed I will get the money 5713/- as gift voucher so that I can use it to purchase a higher end mobile from yebhi which would cost more that 10,000/-. I was planning to use a promo code given by yebhi and rest of the amount to be paid through net banking, but the customer care people informed me that I cannot use the promo code if I'm using the gift voucher. So I chose to get the cash back of 5713/- and they informed that the process will be started on 14 September 2011 and I will get the money back within 8 to 10 working days, which did not happen yet (22/11/2011).

I've received the partial payment of Rs.3617.99/- on 26 Sep 2011 which I paid through net banking. When I called enquired about the balance amount 2095/-, I was informed that it will be sent as a cheque through courier and it will take 8 to 10 working days to reach me. After a long wait and so many times calling yebhi for this refund finally they informed that the cheque is dispatched on 14th of October and when ever I called I was informed to wait, so I waited for it but I did not receive any courier. So I called back on 27 October and I was informed that the courier is delivered to me on 24th October and they provided me a Track ID: Z49109068 of DTDC courier for reference.
When I contacted the DTDC courier I was informed that the courier was delievered to my house owner and they informed her name was "Sarojini" and when I checked with my house owner I found they did not receive any courier on behalf of me and there is no one with the name "Sarojini" in their house. I called back and informed this to the courier company and when I asked without contacting me and without my permission why they handed the courier to someone else. I got a rude reply from a lady in DTDC courier customer care that it is my responsibility to stay at home and receive the courier. She created a case number for this issue "SH149". When I tried to call them back ([protected]) to enquire about it I was not able to reach them till today.

I called the yebhi and asked to cancel the cheque that has been sent to me since it has landed in some wrong hands because of the DTDC courier company and asked them to send a different cheque through a good courier company. This process was started on 3rd of November and I was given a Ticket number: CC[protected] and I was informed that I will receive the cheque in 10 to 12 days since the refund team has to cancel old cheque and issue new cheque. Till now I did not receive it and whenever I called I'm asked to wait for 24 to 48 hours and show all the empathy but it is not worth believing them, cause they have not done what they have promised me. They used to give fake commitments that they will check with the issue and call back after 1 hour, 2 hour, in the evening or the next day but it won't happen. I have called them through [protected] which is STD call for me and it was paid service. Each time when I call I was put in hold for long time and the highest was 25 minutes where the whole call duration was 37 minutes. If they keep the call records they can check it. Due to the repeated calls that I made to yebhi to check the status of my refund for the past 2 months I had to spend more than 500/- rupees amount and mental torture because of long hold and I used to inform about this on all my calls and they reply "We can understand your pain Sir" but they gave the same pain again. Last week when I talked to a customer support person called Rahul from yebhi and along with my issue I informed about the paid service he informed there is a Toll free number and provided it to me :[protected] which I started using it now.

The last call I made to yebhi was yesterday morning 10.30am (22/11/2011) and after long hot conversation and since I demanded to talk to some senior person which I was not provided till the 45th minute of my call, finally Assistant Manager Amit or Amir spoke to me and he has taken note of my concern and he informed that he will personally mail to refund team and he assured me that I will get a call back on the same day within 6pm in the evening. I believed his words and waited for the call. With no surprise I didn't receive any call from yebhi. I'm frustrated with there service and I feel I have made big mistake by using Yebhi.com for online shopping.

After all these struggles with Yebhi I want to inform them I need my money 2095/- back and compensation for making me wait for 2 months for my money which I did not receive it yet.
