[Resolved]  CPP Group India — Claim refusal

I am a resident of Kerala State and had received this CPP insurance along with a loan that I had availed from Bajaj Finserv during April 2023. on May 5th 2023 I happened to encounter with an unfortunate incident. There were some fraudulent transactions carried out by someone on my SBI credit cards for a total amount of Rs. 86, 602/- using the credit card online portal. I had informed the bank, blocked my cards and filed a complaint with the Cyber Crime Police Station here in my place. I had disputed the transactions and approached SBI Cards for claim but they had refused my claim. At this point I had recollected that CPP LIV CARE had offered me a complimentary Card fraud protection benefit which covers fraudulent transactions (as described in their document). In the meantime I had approached the CPP Team for the claim process. I had described them the scenario very clearly and they said I am eligible for the claim. They told me that they will share me the list of documents required for the claim by mail. I had waited for many days and I did not receive any response from them. I tried to reach them several times on the numbers provided, they kept shuffling my calls and were unable to get connected. Finally after a month I got connected and they shared a mail listing the documents required for the claim. They had asked me to share all the attested documents as requested by them on their email and by post. I had shared them all the attested documents (which was done at an extra cost ). I waited for almost 2 weeks and did not receive any response from their end.
I had tried to reach them they kept on shuffling my call without a proper response and each time the agents conveyed different messages to me and many times even showed a rude attitude. Finally I was told that the claim couldn’t be processed because my membership was inactive. My insurance remains valid until 17/04/2024 and shall share the docs for your reference. I tried to contact them several times and they did not respond and never replied to my mail either. Tried to reach their grievance officer Mr.Prachala Singh on these numbers provided on the insurance document ([protected] & [protected]) but they told me that there is no one named Mr.Prachala and disconnected my call. I was very much disappointed with this behavior.
and I was desperate and felt very much helpless. I had couriered my grievance to the address mentioned in the insurance document and the courier was returned to me thrice saying that the address provided was incomplete.
Then I decided to search reviews on Google regarding this CPP insurance and to my surprise I found a hell lot of complaints registered at the customer care page of CPP Claim for rejecting claims with similar reasons pointed out as on with me. What I understood from this irresponsible behaviour was that CPP is trying to refrain from the claim process for no reasons and cheating innocent people by forcefully inducing this paid insurance with private loans. They never responded to the mails thinking that the customers will use it as evidence against their rude response. Kindly go through this link to find similar cases.
And now with due respect I am writing this to you as a final resource of grievance pleading for assistance to proceed with my claim as I am very much financially unstable. Kindly look into this as an emergency and if not resolved amicably I will be forced to move legally against this. Hope to hear from you at the earliest with an acknowledgement by mail to this letter.
