I am a long time member of the cross roads roadside assistance program, running into several years. Yesterday i was in for a rude shock. My car developed a flat tyre on a busy and security sensitive road. There are vvip movements on that road. I immediately booked a complaint through their app. When there was no update or message confirming job assignment for more than 10mins, i called up their customer care. The customer service agent rudely replied that as it is only 10 minutes since registering the complaint and it takes 45 minutes to respond to a complaint, i must wait. I told him that i am on a busy vvip road, he assured me, he ask the team to expedite. Yet his tone betrayed that there was no honesty in the assurance. After spending anxious 35 minutes, i again called the customer care service agent only to be told that the vehicle of maintenance team has developed a mechanical snag and he will not be able to assure by when will the service be rendered or will be rendered at all. The complaint no. Was 589584 dated 05 march 20. This was the first of the promised ten services in the roadside assistance package no.[protected] purchased on 02 dec 2018 for a 2 year period and valid till 02 dec 20.

I had to drive the car with flat tyre to the nearest petrol station. The tyre was completely ruined.

Apart from this the sales team of crossroads regularly haraases customers to renew the package even when the existing package is valid. They unashamedly resort to lies stating that the validity is expired and that membership e card sent by their own system is showing in correct validity.

My suggestion is never to go for the crossroads roadside assistance package. They may have been good in the past but from yesterday's and recent experiences suggest they are now horrible.
