Subject: electricity bill consumer id – [protected]
I, y p chopra, president, press information bureau gharonda, cghs, plot-33, sector-56, gurgaon, hereby submit the following for your information and rectifying procedural action please.
Since september 2016, the society is receiving electricity bills from dhbvnl without checking the previous bill details, the actual meter reading etc, resulting in harassment to consumers.
To rectify the bill, every time on receipt of the bill, sdo, jen, ca, dealing assistant’s are contacted to rectify the bill. This is done on the bill and the society is informed that the complaint is noted in the computer and it is rectified. Next bill again is received without correct information.
Since last one and a half year not a single bill is received without discrepancy.
Last bill in october 2017 was received for approximately rs. 1, 80, 000/- showing consumption of more than 24000 units without showing the previous & present meter readings, which was got corrected for 31, 000/-. Again in nov 17, personally the president visited kanhai village dhbvn office informing that the current reading is 18595 units and the bill was corrected for rs. 55688/-.
The bill received on 01 02.2018 is received without showing the previous & present meter readings and unit consumed shown as 9300. The present reading is 19141. After deducting previous reading 18595 units, the consumption is 546 units., whereas the bill shows 9300 units.
Please suggest ways to get the correct bill. Kindly instruct the staff not to issue any bill without showing the previous and current meter reading and issue a corrected bill to the society for payment.
