Subject: - Waiver/settlement of water bill charges in respect of Consumer ID No. DDARZ0030580-Reg

It is submitted that I have been issued a water connection on 02.09.2016 for my flat No. 60, Block C-12, Pocket-2, Sector-34, Rohini, New Delhi.

2. Since I am posted at Trichy (Tamilnadu) in Central GST Department and living here (Tamilnadu) since 2015 and the flat was vacant since allotment.

3. Due to very small area of the flat, no tenant occupied and not rented out.

4. After issued New water connection, my water meter was theft by someone from my flat before installation (Just after issued the connection.)

5. Today I informed by resident association welfare (RAW of DDA LIG flats Rohini) regarding water bill amount Rs. 12656/-, vide DDA bill No. 822709. I am also inquired with DDA online bill payment desk (https://online.dda.org.in/) . (Attached). As per bill received no reading available but the bill issued.

6. As per bill consumer information point no. 4 & 12:-
4. “ यदि बिल का भुगतान उपरोक्त लिखित तिथि से पहले न किया गया तो 5 प्रतिशत सरचार्ज का भुगतान देना पडेगा और भुगतान की तिथि के 15 दिन बाद तक भी बिल का भुगतान न किया तो जल कनैक्शन काट दिया जायेगा ।
12. Vacant/NC में प्रतिमाह केवल सर्विस चाज लिया जायेगा ।“
7. In this regard it is submitted I am not aware about the water bill because I am not living and the flat was also vacant since allotment. In these condition as per consumer information point no. 4 neither my connection disconnected nor informed me.

8. Further you are requested to please charge me only service charges (without interest/penalty) of water connection and amendment/update my latest bill with service charges only so I will deposit the water connection service charges/bill charges please.
