I had sent a package from dubai on 20th march through aramex courier for delivery to kolkata. The shipment is lying with delhivery since 22nd march and not delivered till now to addressee. I called up their customer service today i. E. 03.04.2019 only to be informed that the issue was bad / incomplete address, whereas awb from aramex shows the full address. I was told that only aramex can provide the full address and that they would liaise with aramex but it will require them 24- 48 hours for providing a resolution.
It is totally unacceptable as i feel that they have not taken any steps in the interim 12 days (From 22nd march till date) to liaise with aramex and now due to my telephonic complaint, they have started to look into the matter. I have already lodged a complaint through their website and claimed demurrage / financial loss of inr 30, 000. My request / demand is for the delivery of the parcel to the addressee asap. I have attached the aramex awb as a proof of my claim that full address was provided at the time of booking the shipment.
