Door to door home garbage collection Van.
In this situation of drastically increase in coronavirus disease would like to highlight the below issues and request you to please advise them to work on the below areas on priority.
Door to door garbage collection van is not coming daily in our area.
They usually come after 12:00 PM IST. As per my understanding, they should collect the garbage before 12:00 PM and they should come at one FIXED time.
They usually don’t ring the doorbell. Sometimes it’s difficult to understand whether they are in our lane or some other lane due to the loud notification music in their VAN.
They forced us to handover the garbage into their hand/ forced us to keep it outside the gate. Again as per my understanding, they can collect the distributed garbage by themselves.
It is not possible to be available all the time for them especially for elderly parents in my case to handover the garbage as VAN doesn’t come at a FIXED time. Secondly, we can not keep the garbage bags outside the gate due to the street dogs as they have torn the garbage bags and spread them all over the roads. We are doing our level best to segregate the garbage in different bags and dustbin, so they will not face any problem but now we are facing problem because of them.
