Drs Dilip Roadlines — Items damaged, money receipts not provided

I booked a consignment for shifting my household goods from Agartala, Tripura to Rangia, Assam. On 22nd September, the packaging team reached Agartala and said by 23 rd, items will be shifted. On 23rd, due to non delivery of items on the vehicle, they started shifting on 24 th. The North Eastern head Mr. Naveen called me to pay Rs 10, 000/- to the team for their diesel costs of the vehicle. I paid the same. They committed that the consignment will reach by 26th evening. On 25th, I enquired about the current position, then they said as I had not pay the full amount, the consignment is yet on the source location. Immediately I paid Rs. 25, 000/- through INB. Here one point is to be noted that, they have not shared their account number till I asked about the consignment. I told that rest Rs. 20000/-will be paid at the time of delivery. But, on 27th, again they said that the consignment will move only when the full payment will be made. So, on that very day, I transferred the amount. Then they committed that the items will be delivered on 28th without fail and it will move directly to my destination. On 28th I again rang them and they replied that as it will require mall vehicle for doorstep delivery, they will be able to deliver on the next day only. As I know the traffic condition of my locality, I urged them to come at 4.00AM and to come along with the money receipts and tax invoice as I have already paid the full amount. On 29th at around 12.00noon, they called me. As the road is narrow and very busy, I told them to come and see the situation of traffic. Then finally they started delivery from 6.00PM.

I asked the delivery people to give the money receipt and tax invoice which I reminde Naveen via telephone and whatsapp messages. They said it is not given. I rang Naveen again, he said due to some problems, it couldnot be extracted and they will give me within the next 1/2 days. After delivery, the delivery boys insisted me to sign the consignment receipt. I told, my money receipt which I paid 4days earlier should reach me, then only I will sign. If they are sending the money receipt, after getting the same I will sign. But without receiving this, I cannot sign.

For receiving the same, I contacted their customer care via email and whatsapp on 8th October, email remain unattended till date. From whatsapp, they replied with a number to contact. The number was for tracking only, which couldnot provide any solution for my issue, while Naveen is not picking my phone. Whatsapp messages written are seen but not replied. As I have to claim the amount from my organisation, the bill is extremely important and is my RIGHT also.

Now come to the damage caused:

1. The packaging quality is the worst one I have ever seen. Foam sheet, wrapper, adhesive tapes everything was very few and they couldnot complete the packagings properly, though I have shared the full details of all the items beforehand.

2. Scooty backlight was completely broken.

3. Battery was damaged to maximum extant.

4. Sofa backside cover was torn.

5. Almirah was dented severely.

6. Fridge front door was dented severely.

7. Many plastic items, mirror, photo frame was completely damaged.

8. Allmost all the cloths (packed in carton, without wrapper ) were wet.

9. Plywood bed items were damaged irreparably.

10. 2 tables were damaged.

After paying a hefty amount of Rs. 55, 000/- for transporting items for a distance of around 600 KMs only, if so much damage is occured, if so much mental anxiety is to be taken, if after paying the full amounts in advance also I have to adk them for my bill and receipt which is my right, what you can expect from this WORTHLESS company!!

So, my sincere request to all concerned to provide my compensation and my money receipt and tax invoice. And I would like to say that do not believe in the advertisement and the name owned by Agarwal Packers and Movers. They are simply looting people in the name.
