DTC — forcing me to pay 200 fine of without ticket

Respected sir/madam,

I am writing to bring to your attention a serious issue i had while travelling in dtc bus (Route no.473) on 14th june around 12.40pm. When i was just taking out and counting the money i had to pay for the ticket (₹5), from the next bus stop (Less than 350 meters ahead) three delhi transit ticket checkers boarded the bus and immediately asked me for the ticket. As i was about to ask the conductor, i had the money in my hands. But one of them (Name not known, he started forcing me to pay ₹200 as fine for travelling without ticket. He seemed to be an illiterate guy as he spoke rudely and in a disrespectful way. I tried to assure him that i was honest by showing him the money and even told him to ask the conductor or driver for confirmation of my boarding place. But instead he manipulated my words and asked the conductor that if i had asked him for the ticket just for his own corrupt purpose. The conductor obviously said no, and the guy not only stepped me down from the bus, threatened me of the cops, imprisonment and forcefully took ₹200 (Receipt image attached) from my wallet. This whole act was very shameful and urges me to think ill of your service and your employees. As an engineering student and a responsible citizen i know the rules and respect them with full honesty. Due to this incident i was disheartened and it ultimately ended me getting too late as i was already out of time.
So i request you to take action against this corrupt behavior of your employee as this in a serious way, i believe is against country's anti corruption growth and will be pleased to have your response. It will be kind enough of you to try let me my money back, just because i am student and respect my parents hard earned money.

Sincerely
Shubhankar

I agree, recently I had a similar experience.
The people that come to check the ticket are very rude and disrespectful. They shout at you as if you are a criminal . I get that ot is their job, but the least they could do is reciprocrate the sams respect and politeness that other person is showing!!
Same bruh.. few years back, I had similar incent. So i was coming from college which is in Delhi and i was coming from uttam nagar metro to sagar pur though bus. I had asked for 10 ruppes ticket and instead he gave me 5 ruppes accidently. Now, Desu colony would cost me 5 ruppees and after that would cost me 10 ruppes and my home was in between Desu colony and next stand. So, as soon as Desu colony gates closed i realised i had to take a ticket and stood up. But unknown to me, a ticket conductor was sitting in bus and was travelling in normal uniform. So, as soon as i stood up, he also stood up and asked for my ticket and i showed him and he said its expired. That ###, i said that i just can take a ticket now, but he said no and as we were taking .. the bus was going and going. Well, they didn't let me take ticket nor they stopped, they just wanted 200 ruppes fine. Well i felt sooo bad, i didn't gave him fine and said i dont have money and he asked me call his parents, call police and so on. Eventually, it was so late, i just gave him money which i had and i did lie before. But i was like 1 km or more away from home and no clue how to get back, so i had no money left nor the ticket which now had "free ### 1 day pass" no use. so i starting walking and i was like 1 hour late. And till this day, i feel like killing him if i just remembered his face XD. Next time, if anything happen i better start recording and call the cops myself. Fcking corrupted people.
