I have booked the Easy cab from lalbagh botanical garden to Hennur Cross and the booking as confirmed with the booking ID M[protected] and pick up time was 6 PM evening but when I called them for the contact details of driver at 5:58 PM on [protected] the representative from the Easy Cab told me that due to unavailability of the cab in the area the request is cancelled and after questioning about the cancellation he disconnected the call then I received the message "Dear Customer, as requested by you we confirm the cancellation of your Booking No.M[protected]. We look forward to serve you at the earliest-EasyCabs" meanwhile I got a call from the No.[protected] which I missed and then I called to the same No.[protected] at 6:05 PM and some representative from Easy Cab picked the phone when I asked him about the status of the my booking id then he said Sir your cab is cancelled but after arguments he said you will get the Cab within 1/2 Hr (upto 06:40 PM) and he confirmed the same over the call. I waited there till 06:35 PM and again I called to the same No.[protected] and this time the representative from Easy Cab told that you will not get the CAB. Overall they harassed me for 1 Hr and also I suffered a lot with my family (Aged parents and kids) to reach my destination.
I request the Consumer forum to please take legal action and penalised by filing a harassment and false commitment's complaints against the Easy Cab and also file a complaint for sending the false message where they have mentioned "as requested by you we confirm the cancellation of your Booking No.M[protected]" but I have never requested them to cancel the booking.
Consumer forum should do something so that they will not do such things to the other customers.
I have all the recordings of the conversations happened with the Easy Cab customer representatives. I will provide all when required.
