Ebay.in — Item not received and ebay as well as seller doesn't care

I purchased an item from ebay on 6th of January. The seller provided me with tracking details after couple of days which were dated back to 5th of January (The day before placing the order). I really don't know how this shipping works!!! When I checked with the seller he had answered me differently each and every time. Once stating that the shipment already left from his place and the other time it is not shipped yet. He even asked me for my address again to ship. After couple of days, to my surprise, the status of the tracking # provided (FEDEX) shows that it is delivered. However I have not received any. I then raised a claim with ebay who seems to have resolved with no resolution and not even checking with me. I called them back and had escalated the claim. Its been 2+ months since the claim was raised and escalated. There is still no response or resolution on this. My mail transactions with the seller were forwarded to ebay team, however there is neither a response nor an acknowledgement. I tried to reach the Grievances team and the country head of operations as well with no luck. Every time I call up the customer care they stick with only one word that the issue would be resolved within next 48 hours. Forget about the resolution I don't even get an update on the status many a times. Some of the reference numbers of the calls and the persons I spoke with my remarks next to them. But still no update.
