[Resolved] Epson India — Extended delivery date | |||
Ordered Epson Ecotank 5190 printer in official Epson India website (https://epsonshop.co.in) on 9th June, 2021. Problems : (1). Tracking of order can't be done (2). Received email (not through official email ID) on 2nd July that product to be dispatched by maximum 12th July. Same confirmed by the representative when i called (3). 13th July : I called again. Got response after more than 4 hours that product to be dispatched only after 16th August. My next step : Cancelled the order since delivery or dispatch date still not confirmed. Reasons : Official Epson India website mentions dispatch date to be 12-15 days which might be extended to 3-4 weeks. If they can't make delivery, why unnecessarily take the order!!! Printer prices have gone up significantly since the last 1 and half months. Steps required by Epson India : (1). The website should clearly mention that product isn't available in Indian warehouses, rather being imported from foreign countries. Dispatch date will depend wrt current COVID situation on foreign countries as well. (2). Customer should be contacted via Epson's official email ID (and not through personal email ID of their representative). (3). Customer should be able to track the product.
