Epson India — Not attending complaint for long time and thereby causing financial loss | |||
I had purchased a printer from dealer of epson india in 2014 and the cost was about 2.50 lakhs approx. The model is wf-r8591 and the s. No. Is vmxy010286. The printer was purchased from m/s. Channel copiers, thiruvalla, kerala. The printer has developed some problems earlier and repaired by m/s. Doctorfone, kottayam, kerala and as i conceive they are the authorized service center for the area covering my place. The complaint is the ink tank started leaking and started wetting the printouts and the paper in tray. They made repairs but could not complete. They told me use the machine in emergencies only but i have not used. Now, the ink (Cyan) oozes out even when idle. Initial complaint was made on july 12, 2021 to the authorized service center through phone and whatsapp message. I had also registered a complaint no.233172 online with epson india in their website as asked by mr. Arun, probably epson's rep. On oct, 7 a service engineer came and done some attempts and he could not rectify the problem. He told me that he would be coming within 2-3 days. I went on reminding them over phone and messages. On 25th oct., i was informed by the service center that parts are to be purchased and sent me a quotation for approval which i had approved. (Kindly note the delay and negligence in each step) after approval, nothing happened. Often nobody from service center or epson representative lift phone. I had also made complaints online thrice with their corporate complaint cell and also phoned a gentleman who seems to be their company’s representative. Now. I am incurring heavy losses as this machine is a vital part in my business.in nutshell this is my complaint. Kindly help before i incur more loss.
