Exide Industries — Dealer Overcharging by Chembur Battery Service, Chembur, Mumbai

For my car MH 03 AZ 6312 Dzire Diesel, I had an old battery Exide Mileage Red bought on 14.2.2019 from above Dealer Chembur Battery Service. The old battery said if I buy a new battery, I will get a discount of 20%.The dealer told be recently I will also get a discount of Rs. 1200 on return/recyle of old battery.

The new Exide MIleage battery with 55 months warrany MRP is 8895 and as such I should be charged (Rs.. 7195 - 20%) minus Rs. 1200 i.e.[protected] i.e Rs. 5996/- Instead the dealer Chembur Battery Service ([protected],[protected] has charged me Rs. 6700 vide Bill No. 7454 dated 25.8.2022.
