Experience Andamans — Fraud, Rude Agents, Useless service, unethical behaviour

My experience with the company and its agents has been the least to say torturous and disgusting. My complaint is summarized below:

Events:

The first day we were to be picked and dropped from the Airport to our hotel in Port Blair. This distance was hardly 3 km or so and was covered in less than 10 minutes. We were then given a timing to be picked up for taking to beach. We were dropped at Corbyn cove's beach at 4.00 pm and told to be back by 4.40 pm at the drop location, which we had to . Now each time a new driver, a new face. Later we went for the cellular jail show and again we come out to look for some car of the agency, again a new driver, new face.

Also, we are told that because there are so many bookings so one driver drops and rushes to some other customer and so on. Anyhow, for the next day visit to Baratang cave, we are told to be ready by 2.30 am in the morning. However, the car doesnt arive till 3.30 am only after calling the manager. So much in the name of efficiency.

The next day we are asked to move at 7.00 sharp for the ferry. The car comes and while I am gulping down breakfast which hotel serves only at 7, the driver leaves. We had to frantically search for the driver standing on road as we had to take the ferry. Now when we call the manager, Bipul -who is an extremely rude and disgusting person by his behaviour, he has the audacity to talk rubbish to a female and use foul language. For 20 minutes, he was loud and rude and had no business of talking to a female client this way. I refuse to be treated like stray cattle that you pick us from a place then dump at the next and leave to visit your next lot. Since I was a tourist in that place I did not resort to lodging an FIR with the police for this.

However, i did complaint to the director of the company through a sim from my hotel in Havelock. After hours of explanation about the problem, Mr. Nihal from the company apologized and said he will personally look into it and change the supervisor. So we are assigned a new supervisor, Mr. Shahrukh.

While we returned to port blair the last day was reserved for a shopping tour. However, the driver picked us at 08.00 pm from the hotel. He was again late. He drops us at an emporium which is about to shut down and then leaves us and vanishes. He stranded us ON THE ROAD AT 8.30 PM. With limited phone connectivity, I call the new supervisor Mr. Sharukh who has no courtesy to answer my call or respond. every time i call him his executive picks to tell that sir is on another call.

My complaint is summarized in the points below:

1. For minimal distances and just picking and dumping customers from one location to the other, why is this company charging Rs. 20, 000/- from innocent tourists. They are just throwing us like stray cattle from one place to the other We have to repeatedly call them to pursue where the driver is.

2. How can an agent(Bipul, Shahrukh) use foul language with a female client when it is their own mistake? Why shouldn't they be penalized?

3. Is this agency only there to loot people of their money. They did not deliver what they had promised clearly. They stranded us on the road at night, their agents were rude, drivers unreliable, agents fraud. So much in the name of just earning money?

4. If these guys cannot handle bookings, then why take so many bookings? Humans are not stray animals that you pick and dump them from one place to another.
