Fedex — Overcharged custom fees + hidden charges - FedEx India Bangalore

Got charged excess customs fees which is clearly visible in the bill of entry. Product is valued around 3.8k with shipping included, yet it was magically bumped up to 5k and then tax was calculated on the same. Have provided the invoice which shows the exact amount I paid the seller.

No help at all in resolving the issue. I'm in Chennai and was asked to visit the Bangalore customs office! Why the heck would someone have to physically travel to resolve something like this? Ridiculous... They directed me to the customs website and have no idea who the customs officer was that particular day that did the shady job of appraising parcels.

Was also charged additional Rs. 300 as "Forwarding fees". They bleed you for money at every junction.

I will have to avoid using them in the future.
