[Resolved]  Flipkart — Non-Refund of my cancelled purchase

I made a purchase of Moto E and Moto G together as a single order and made the payment via 6 months EMI option. After making the purchase, I got a text and email communication that the order has been confirmed. Within seconds of getting the confirmation, I received another text saying that the order of Moto E has been cancelled. So I called Flipkart and the Agent Adarsh picked up the phone and told me he can’t help me since I Purchased another Moto E before. I escalated to the supervisor and he transferred the call to Shreeja who repeated the same. I escalated again and the call reached Sadiya who parroted the same and even suggested me to cancel the whole order including the Moto G which I placed and then call the bank and ask for a credit back for the EMI interest paid I demanded to speak to another supervisor since I did not want to cancel the whole order since I paid through bank. All I wanted was a refund of the cancelled order without me incurring any loss. She then transferred the call to escalations team and spoke to Dilip Kumar. He finally understood the concern after 1 Hr and agreed that Bank wont refund the interest amount though flipkart refunds the amount which I paid for the moto E back to my credit card and told thatI’ll loose the interest amount which I paid. And he then said that flipkart would cover this cost and will refund the interest aount incurred to me as well. He then adds on saying that I cannot have this amount refunded back to the bank but I need to utilize this amount by making purchase from flipkart and have this amount deducted from the order which I may place in future, to which I said I’m not gonna make anymore purchase from flipkart ever again in my life and I need to transfer the amount back to my card to which He shouted at me saying a CLEAR NO. My question is why cant flipkart refund me back my money back to me, how can they ask me to spend it in their website by holding up my money. Email : [protected]@ymail.com Ph: [protected]
