Flipkart — Picked up my product of very high amount and not paying the refund amount.

Thanks for your help.

I am Siddharth Gope a very old customer of Flipkart. On 21st of Dec 2023 I bought one BenQ GS50 500 lm DLP Corded & Cordless Mobiles Portable Projector (order ID OD[protected] from Flipkart.

As the product was damaged on arrival (we have a video of product un-boxing on arrival) and not working well, we asked Flipkart to return that. First of all, they declined all our request three times. In forth attempt the agreed-on replacement.

On 1st Jan 2024 replacement came and delivery boy denied allowing us to open the product on arrival (the replacement was approved only because we had a video o[censored]n-boxing of original damaged product on arrival). As the earlier product was already damaged, we denied receiving the product replacement and sent back both the original product and replacement with the delivery boy.

On the same day we opened a ticket with Flipkart for the refund. Even though they are agreeing on all the points from our side they have not refunded the amount yet.

Even they have sent a written mail to us that we will be getting the amount in 5 business days on 13th Jan 2024. They have not sent anything to us yet.

And now they are forcing us to keep the damaged product again.

Her is the timewise details.

21st Dec 2023: - Ordered Product with online payment.

23rd Dec 2023: - Product delivered. (Product was damaged on arrival. We have a video or product un-boxing on arrival)

24th Dec 2023: - we requested return ([protected]) for the first time (Rejected)

25th Dec 2023: - we requested return ([protected]) for the second time (Rejected)

26th Dec 2023: - we requested return ([protected]) for the third time (Rejected)

27th Dec 2023: - we requested return ([protected]) for the fourth time (Replacement Approved)

1st Jan 2024: - Replacement came. Delivery boy didn't allow us to open the box to check again if product is damaged or not. So, we sent both original product and Replacement with Delivery boy. (We have a video evidence)

1 Jan 2024: - We raised our first ticket (Incident: IN[protected]) with Flipkart. they said this will be resolved by 4th Jan 2024.

4 Jan 2024: - They asked bank details saying seller want to refund the amount. and resolved the ticket by them self without my confirmation.

7 Jan 2024: - We re-opened the ticket and shared the bank details. And specifically shared multiple mobile number as well in case they want to connect us.

9 Jan 2024: - They asked for the screen shot of message showing us the tracking id of the replacement delivery. We shared the same.

10 Jan 2024: - They asked for the bank details again. We shared it. They resolved the ticket by them self without my confirmation again.

11 Jan 2024: - They dropped an email that they will be refunding my money within next 5 business days.

13 Jan 2024: - They dropped an email again that they will be refunding my money within next 5 business days.

17 Jan 2024: - We dropped an email to Flipkart saying that we do not have received any amount please update. (No reply)

19 Jan 2024: - We called them for the update. They said the seller has already approved the refund process. Please wait for 1 day. They resolved the ticket by them self without my confirmation again.

20 Jan 2024: - We dropped another email again for the update. (No reply)

21 Jan 2024: - We called them to get the status. This time they said seller declined the refund. please wait for another day.

22 Jan 2024: - We called them again for update. This time we got an update that delivery boy has marked pick up of original product as cancelled.

24 Jan 2024: - We visited delivery partner office. We show that delivery partner has sent back the replacement product to seller, and they are keeping original product in their warehouse. When we asked why the product was still in the warehouse? they said they don't have any update all along from Flipkart what to do with the product. They started forcing us to take away the product.

24 Jan 2024: - We called Flipkart to update the situation. They asked for the time till 25th Jan 2024. we waited.

25 Jan 2024: - Now Flipkart called us and started forcing us to receive the original product form delivery partner. And after that raise a fresh complain without any guarantee that the return request would be considered or not. As the date of return and replacement of the product has already passed for the product. We asked specifically a written email form Flipkart giving an assurance that the product will be returned after picking up. They specifically denied giving anything. And said you have to receive the product. Resolved my ticket again. (We have audio recording for the same)

We also have all the chat reference which shows that from day one they have agreed that both the product was with Flipkart and their delivery partner only. And now they are forcing us to receive the damaged product.

In between they always create multiple ticket for us to get rid of the old ticket. which is very irritating.

Please help us getting out of the issue. As we need this money on very urgent basis.
