I have registered in freelancer.com. On 1st october 2017 i have bidded for the project posted by 'nexoarts' an employer. Thisis his email id '[protected]@gmail.com'. It was mentioned that ill be charged 60$ i. E 4k inr. Before accepting the project. I asked him about the details. He told that he will send an email. But then the amount got deducted from my account. I waited and pinged him regularly about the project. I created a milestone also. But he dint respond and blocked me from messaging him. Kindly help me to get the refund. Its my hard earned money.
Please help. I removed my registered payment from this site now.
Kindly take an action on these bogus employers.

I am so sorry, but I think this is a scam. I think you can't get the money back, but you can learn from this.
I have seen this e-mail address, that you mentioned and initially I thought this is a scam.
I've been randomly awarded on projects I've never placed a bid on by users I have never seen or talked to. Following that I would get a message which always said the same thing:
"Household is in need of a virtual assistant to represent and
work virtually for the gallery in handling customers services, invoice, data
entry and also data processing .Biding freelancers should have an
excellent customer service and must be outcome-oriented.
The gallery needs an assistant that will help manage its data
entry, customer, Ed services, reply to emails, handle data processing and
also handle all that deals with invoicing and recordings, creating and

I went through your profile and I think you are qualified for this job. ... A legitimate employer would never ask you to go on another site from Freelancer and continue the conversation somewhere else. I thought they want to get my information, for example about my bank account and steal money somehow. Any users that write this message and this the e-mail address ([protected]@gmail.com) is a scam. After I didn't reply to these messages they/he/she delete these users and they just disappear. Before you accept a project always look at the users. Do you they have a Facebook or Twitter page? Do they have a webpage? Are they payment verified? You can search on their company or brand or If it's just a person look for other proof I mentioned before. These scam messages are so annoying for me because I always hope for a project and when I see I got something I just get happy, but I immediately become sad when I realize that It's a scam. I report the issue to Freelancer. I feel really sorry for you! :(
