I ordered a combo o[censored]sed washing machine and refrigerator after watching their ad post on OLX. The sales girl gave me couple of pictures to choose from and it was delivered 3 days later. They also gave me receipt where they had written 6 months free service and replacement of goods purchased.
When I received the products, the delivery guy told me to not open refrigerator for 2 hours as the compressor gas might take some time to settle. When I opened the fridge door it had dozens of live cockroaches inside and it was smelling bad, the compressor was making loud noise and even after several hours it did not cause cooling. The washing machine was also leaking water because its drainage was choked completely from water scaling they had tried to remove before selling it off to me, it was not even draining water and just spinning.
I tried contacting them multiple times but they don't pick up my call, or even if they pick up they tell me they are sending exchange tomorrow or day after. It has been 2 months now and I'm trying to contact them daily 3-4 times.
Such sellers must be banned from all platforms as they are neither authentic nor do they have any professional mannerism. They are just doing business making fool out of people. Even their appliances had 5-star rating sticker which was printed in a paper and stuck to cheat people into thinking this is a genuine product. I understand there might be issues with used items and I don't expect brand new dent free appliance, but it should do the basic task it is supposed to do, or it is just a garbage.
I'm even went to their shop which took me 1 hour to reach, they promised me they will send replacement within 72 hours (it has been a month now).
I'm looking for legal ways to approach such fraudsters so that anyone else won't be cheated and I get my money back. Was this information helpful? |
