there is always delay in refund of amount after cancellation. i got my refund from gaursons after 5 months. one of my friend also cancelled his flat in Ajnara builders but he is still suffering for the refund after even 1 years and moreover the builder is not responding to him. that's very hurting for a person who have investing his hard earning and now getting this kind of response from the builder. and this is the case with every builder but i still feel gaursons is better to some extend they also delay refunds but at least has transparency in process. i also got refund after 5 months but satisfied with the support from them.

My friend booked a flat at gaursons and he had to cancel that as he was moving to banglore. so he asled gaursons to refund his amount on that gaursons replied that this is the tough market situation for real estate and the amount he get from the booking they put that amount for the development of the projects so once they have invest can't get that money out the project until the flat is re booked by other customer so that might have to wait for that.
I think that's the valid reason from the gaursons and market for real estate is tough. so that's fine some time refund gets delay and i have seen in some cases gaursons has refunded in limited time and my friend too got refund after small delay.

Yes mayank you are right, no builder want cancellation from the buyers and that's right as in real estate market is not very encouraging so they want their buyers to pursue with the property. but if some one cancel their flat than builders try to sell the cancelled flat. and i think that's not wrong as at this market situation it is tough for the builder to pay back instantly that's why payment of cancel flats gets delay. but yes this is harsh situation for the buyers as they pay money for their flat and they cancel due to some reasons and now they get payment delay so that's very difficult for them. but as i have seen gaursons are still paying back rather in lesser time.
