I have bought AOGR18JCC ACs in SrinLanka from a person claimed to be an agent of General Japan. The ACs wouldn’t switch on automatically after a power cut when the power comes back. Agent asked me to switch of the AC from the plugs and switch on again when that happens. He also said that a special feature in General to avoid any high voltage absorption. He also said these are inverter models and I understand that the captioned model is not an inverter model ( after research). Please confirm whether the switching off is a normal feature and whether these are inverters or not. Also would like to know the country of origin of the captioned model. We bought these in 2020 December and we were told they are brand new from Japan. As you can see the bottom of the below sticker has been cut.
