Ghmc Telangana — In a single year increase of property tax by ten times

We had paid property tax for the year 2015 to 2016 for rs.2896 vide receipt no: 747673 on 25.02.2016. now suddenly a bill amounting to rs.23, 634/00 we receive for the year 2016-17.

This sudden increase of property tax by 10 times from this year[protected] will unable this family to pay who are already in debt, in order to meet their daily ends meet and also the medical expenses.
Therefore we request very humbly to reconsider this sky rocketing of property tax bill by 10 folds and find a way in order for this family to be not burden but an amicable tax for them to pay.

TWO BILLS WE ARE ASKED TO PAY ONE FOR RS= 23871 AND ANOTHER FOR RS= 2896 RESPECTIVELY FOR ABOVE MENTIONED PTI N NOS.

TOTALLING TO HUGE AMOUNT FOR A SINGLE YEAR I.E.26767 FOR A RESIDENTIAL SINGLE OWNER WITHOUT TENANT OLD CONSTRUCTION HOUSE.

Even i'm facing the same kind of an issue with the property tax previously we paid an amount of Rs.414 now we are asked to pay Rs.3160. it is really unfair on the part of the GHMC to hike the rates all of sudden putting a severe burden on low class and middle class People. I Kindly request to reduce the rates because every one cannot afford it specially for residential owners.
