We purchased a 4-burner Green Chef glass cook top on 14th february 2015 (fro spar hypermarket at bannerghatta road).
within one week of our purchase, one of the knobs had already come out. even that time the technician took 2 days to come and repair but that time it was manageable as their was no gas leakage and the other 3 knobs were working perfectly. On sept 2nd 2015 another knob comes out and also causes gas leakage. This happened in the morning while i was preparing for the entire days meal for my children as im a working woman. Due to the leakage i had to switch off the cylinder or it would have caused a major accident. I called the call centre and they told me that their technician can come only the next day. (thank god for microwave otherwise i wouldn't have been able to cook anything.)
Untill 3pm on 3rd sept (the next day) nobody from green chef had turned up & also repeated calls to the call centre were made and nobody answered. pathetic service. At around 4pm we tried the call centre again and someone named ashwini answered and said that it would take another day more to solve our problem. I dont know how do they expect me to cook till then. Is this how their service is??
Also i've noticed that the burner rings have started to rust, if its steel that they use then it shouldn't rust. this clearly means that its not steel and they're cheating us.
My product is under warranty, and if by tomorrow my problem is not solved i will take their entire company to the consumer court and get my money back from the company. Was this information helpful? |
