[Resolved] Gruha Kalyan — Not accepting cancellation of booked flats, harassing and threatening | |||||

It's going to be an year since i have booked the flat under gruha kalyan lotus pre-launch project. till now there has been no progress in this project. i was promised that they have applied for khata transfer and bbmp approval but there is no update from gruha kalyan even after several followup. I am approaching them twice in a month for an update but i got nothing but disappointment all the time. as there is no progress in the project and even they failed to produce the application made for khata transfer and bbmp approval even after several follow ups, i decided to go for the cancellation of my booking. Now they came up with various other reasons for not accepting my cancellation at par. some of their excuses are- 1. managing director is out of station. 2. when visited on saturday, they came up with an excuse that they take cancellations only on friday. 3. when we visited on friday they came up with an excuse that they are conducting internal auditing and they cannot take the cancellation for next three months. 4. when we insisted for cancellation, lotus project customer relationship manager (neha) behaved rudely and shouted "go and complain and do whatever you want to do, we are not going to process the cancellation". I was really shocked and surprised with the statement of the c. r. m neha, it seemed as if they don't have the fear of anyone or any thing even after getting our hard earned money and faults at their end. I have also observed that there are many people who have invested in different gruha kalyan properties and are facing the same issues as there is no construction started in any of their projects. On further investigation we found that the projects mentioned on the site as completed and sold are not their own projects. they are misleading the customers and deceiving people with lies. I request you to help me in cancelling my booking and get back my hard earned money. your kind assistance in this regard will be highly appreciated. Was this information helpful? | |||||
Sep 4, 2016 Complaint marked as Resolved Gruha Kalyan given us a written statement that they will give us cheque, so the issue has been resolved now.

I am shocked, how can you enter into an agreement of sale where the seller doesn't own any property? The builder (seller) has cleverly not put down the details of MOU between him and the owner. You should actually be given a copy of the MOU between the builder and the owner of the land. And you should have verified it with the owner of the land and met him personally.

Thanks for showing the concern. We have a copy of MOU between Land owner and Builder, So there is nothing like that. We also have a copy of the Land along with the confirmation regarding the registry of the land.

I booked a flat in Feb from this fraud company. I cancelled it after 10 days. I was given cheque for 98k for 27 May but they told me not to cash it. I was promised a DD but they never gave it. Now their General Manager Siddharth is telling me to remove this post instead of paying back My money. Total fraud. Don't give them a penny.
We booked a flat in gladious project and paid Rs. 2, 00, 000/- and cancelled in june first week still no response from gruha kalyan and not returning our money of Rs. 2, 00, 000/-.
