My washing machine had problem that i purchased in 2018 still under warranty. After taking service appointment, technician identified rat biting. He said, wiring set need to change and not comes under warranty. I am accepted to pay for damaged product replacement, delay prolong 1 week. Then i take call customer care service center to know status and asked about product had extra optional outlet hole without protection, how is it my mistake. They said rats are in your home its your problem. I said ok, but why your designers give optional outlet valve hole with any tentative protection. If there is no hole, no entry to machine. Then they replied, i have to place any protection to that hole. The machine covered with cloth to protect from water and dirt or scratches. Is their any other way i can protect machine. Every house in world had rat problems. Is it my mistake of shielding hole or designer fault. Option is good but not without foresight problems. And even i will ready pay this issue cost me a few bucks to sort out problem quickly. Then the costumer care inform me warranty of 5 years on motor also not applicable entirely in future problem. What is this policy, damage of wire caused to losing of warranty. Is there any customer will hide rats in washing machine. It leads to the entire machine not comes under warranty. This is policy of looting consumer money intentionally. I hope this type practice is not tolerable in india. And if possible please listen call recording customer service center calls, i hope my words in customer care conversation are good. How are they deal. They mute call until i terminate it.
