I have purchased ifi audio - zen dac (11999/-) from https://www.headphonezone.in/ on july 15, 2020 (Order id #222688). I had received the order on[protected]. When i connected this dac to my phone it starts draining my phone battery drastically from 100 to 30% in just 15 minutes and my phone gets extremely hot. Then i contacted headphonezone through email on the same day[protected] and requested for the return. On[protected] they have rejected my claim for return and told me that our devices is not defected so we cant refund you..

You are request to do the needful. I want full refund for this order.

Mr. Garbeshwar purchased a product name iFi Audio - Zen DAC from our website and did raise a return request as his phone battery was draining when onnected to the phone. However, the issue mentioned by the customer is not a manufacturing defect. Any DAC (Digital to Analog Converter) connected to a device will use powerer supply from the device it's conneced to. When used with a laptop, or mobile phone, it is recommended to use with a power supply to avoid draining the battery. The information about the product is given on the website for transparent and clear communication.

The DAC purchased by the customer is meant to be used with a Desktop computer, or when connected to a mobile phone, will use power from the batttery. To avoid draining the mobile phone battery it should be used with a power supply. We tried explaining the same to Mr. Garbeshwar and also helped with the possible option to use that particular DAC is ways where he doesn't face any issue.

As the product doesn't have any defect in it, we will not be able to accept the return request and hence we will not be able to offer a refund for the same.
