House — jaquar kitchen taps 10 yrs warranty misleading

I had purchased a kitchen sink swan tap for rs.4000. After 1 year the handle became defective. They charged rs850 for the spare. During purchase they told that u can use 10 years guarantee... Any problem they will replace it... Why is jaquar misleading the public? Its better to buy ess products for lesser cost.. Same quality... Anyways we save nothing as jaquar warranty is rubbish... Service charge for a plumber is just rs.100/-... So whats the big deal in giving 10 years service warranty???
