[Resolved]  HTC — Fraud HTC

Sir, I bought new htc one m7 in july 2013. Within 1 month o[censored]sage its camera started malfunctioning. Camera was showing pink tint around the screen . I contacted Htc customer care they told me that it was a software problem and wait till next android updates. I waited till next update
After 3 months new update came and still the problem was not solved. I again contacted customer care they told me to submit it to the service center. Atleast they got ready to see the phone . After the inspection they told me that camera would be replaced . They took around 20 days to deliever the phone after i constantly asked them to return and they gave me reason of parts are not available and it will come from taiwan. Service center promised to deliever it in 7 days but it took 20 days. I suffered huge loss as my whole work and accounts were managed by the phone. Camera started working after the repair. But next month again phone software got corrupted by updating HTC app. All my data got deleted with some important files of mine. I again submitted it to service center and they repaired it in 3 days. Then after i got delievery it worked normal for 2 months . Then 1 day it suddenly shut down. All my data was again deleted. I took it to service center 3rd time they told me that mother board need to be replaced. I asked them why the phone is constantly malfunctioning, i also asked them to replace the phone they denied it . As there was no water mark, no scratches, no dent. So they have to replace the mother board. After replacing phone worked normal . Now week ago from now on 16/12/2014 camera stopped working. I took it to service center in ansal plaza, hudco place, New Delhi. They submited the phone and told me that they will call me next day about the problem. Next day one guy from HTC called me and demanded 20, 000 for repair as the phone was not in warranty. I was shocked on the price . When i asked them for what i have to pay such huge amount. They told me that motherboard and camera need to be replaced. I denied the repair as both these parts were replaced 6 months ago. And there was no extenal injury to the phone. When i collected the phone from center the screen of my phone was not placed correctly. From one was side there was a gap . When i protested they gave me fullish reason of heating up. When i came home my camera started working normally but my top speaker was crackling. They tried to fool me as my phone motherboard and camera were in working condition. They intentionally demanded money for the thing which were working. And ruined my top speaker. i have no trust in their centres.Now i cant pick up calls as top speaker pops a cracking sound. I am totally harassed by this company and i am planning to sue it. I am a student and i have to attend college regularly but due to the fraudalent acts of this company i had too miss my classes. I demand my full price i paid for the phone or replaced phone addition to compensation for harrassing and wastage of my precious srudy time. Under are my details

Similar thing has happen to my HTC One M7 which I had also bought on July 2013 in Singapore directly from SINGTEL operator

They have also changed many parts of the phone during warranty period (Camera, Speakers, USB Board, etc.) in 3 repair sessions!! But each time after 1-2mths a new problem came out!! The only difference with your case was that each time they repaired an returned phone within 4-6days (Perhaps because Singapore center has more spare parts or it can deliver fast as Singapore is just a city)

Anyway they didn't listen to my comments and requests that something is generally wrong until finally in Dec. 2014 they admitted the Motherboard is faulty after it lost connection to 3G/4G as well, But asking me to pay 250$+ for it's replacement as 1yr warranty is expired!!

I'm currently waiting for reply from HTC management and if I don't get any reply by 12th Jan. I'll also file a complaint and sue against them,

The HTC customer support is wasting people's money and time and should be brought to justice and penalized to stop this practise.
