HTC — HTC 816 Screen Replacement taking forever!! | |||

Address of the HTC Service center(TVS-E)- Shop no- 105, first floor, Shangrilla Arcade, Near Shyamal cross road, Ahmedabad, Gujarat- India Really Disappointed with the Service- HTC, you have proven to me that its "NOT" worth buying your products even though your products are mind blowing & Smart. I am writing this post in regards with my HTC desire 816, that I purchased 6 months back. Well, I dropped the phone and obviously the screen on the phone cracked and the touch response stopped working. Fearing the worst, I showed it to a local mobile repair guy(since it was a Sunday- HTC TVS-E was shut), the repair guy says that I would have to give it to the HTC Service only. After couple of day(16th January 2015) I managed to give my phone to one of the HTC TVS-E service center in Ahmedabad(India). I was initially happy to see return date of my phone is 19th Jan 2015 & Approx cost of the Screen being Rs.5500/- on the service report. Usually, with other major mobile brands that I have owned and got serviced was no more than 48hrs. Wonder what takes HTC to get a screen fixed in more that 1 week. The best part, I did not get a call till date from HTC/TVS-E regarding the status on my phone. I have to keep calling the TVS-E guys and ask them for the status. Same result on the online chat service- It would take some more time( another 10-15 days I Presume) I am highly disappointed with the service provided by HTC for their esteemed customers by holding onto their phones for ever & ever!! Would urge HTC to pls look into Customer Satisfaction & retention of your products. Right now, I don't think its worth buying a phone that does not give a quick fix for a small problem like a replacement of Screen. Not buying an HTC ever again. Pls do consider this as an ESCALATION. Incase I do not get my phone back soon, I am ready to go to CONSUMER COURT for this. I have all the time in the world to get back what I deserve. I wasn't even offered a replacement/temporary phone for the time being. I am highly disappointed with the Service that HTC/TVS-E is providing with my handset. Pls do read the following email for the entire detail. Pls rest assure that I am definitely going to the CONSUMER COURT for this issue. It has been exactly 11 days that my phone has gone into the service center for a minor repair(Screen Replacement) and I haven’t got it back!!! If this is the kinda service that you provide your customers, then I am sorry to say that you are losing “A LOT” of valuable customers and will keep losing them. I hope my message is LOUD & CLEAR!! I am going to the press soon( Have booked an appointment with the Top National Newspaper ) and also going viral online with this issue.
