Last two months i am paying some of amount as interest. As i didnt purchased according to my knowledge, without that they mentioned some charges as interest in the last two months. I made one payment as mentioned, but the same thing happend this month statement also. When i called to customer care, they didnt giving me proper response to me, one of the customer care staff spoke very irresponsible, when i said give me a valuable reply or else i will raise a complaint againt you. He simply said, do whatever you want we are not responsible for this problem. I made so many calls but no use of that simply transfer the call to some person and that person put me in hold for 45minutes, at last call got disconnected. This incident made me too much stress and impatient. I need to know the truth behind this confusion made by this icici credit card department
When i not purchased anything why should i have to pay that interest charges ?
Second thing why this people not helping to solve the problem in customer cares.!

I have been forced to write this email because of the issues I am facing with the services of ICICI bank. I am a Customer of ICICI bank. I had taken a home loan. I have cleared all my dues in the last week of Nov 2013 and received a letter from ICICI Bank stating the status of my loan as "CLOSED" as of 05-DEC-2013. Same is being shown online. It has been more than 2 months since then and I have not received my property documents. I have been made to run behind ICICI Bank continuously. I am calling Customer care and the branch. Each time they seek a week's time to sort out the issue and doesn't even bother to call. Since December they are saying its on the way. The documents have been couriered. The customer care and even the branch is not giving any answer. I am afraid they have lost my documents. I have sent a mail to Chanda Kochhar as well. But I think she is at asleep all the time. Kindly help me to resolve my issue.

hi I have an ICICI Bank credit card, my last month dues were about 47600, due to over sight I paid only 47000. To my horror I am seeing an interest charges of about 1800. The difference was only 600 but the interest charged on it is 1800. This is very unfail charging policy

Hi, ICICI Bank deducted Rs. 10552.34 from my salary account without any notification. When I enquired, I was told that this deduction happened on account of outstanding for already settled credit card. This is a fraud as this card is already settled in 2005 and there is no trans on that including any late fee/ service tax. First of all your privacy at ICICI bank is at big risk and without my persmission they give access to my contact information and bank account information and also deducted the amount. After continuous follow up, I got the credit card statement and it also shows exact amount 10552.34 deducted on 17/01/2005 to settle this account. Card # [protected] ICICI personnel waking up after sweet 9 years and deducting the same amount again. I asked for explanation but no positive response. Matter is pending since last 2 months. I Dr. S Srinivasa Rao put before you the following for your perusal and needed action. A customer was put to embarrassing situations and hardships for the only reason of depositing the cheque in ICIC bank.
I bear the Savings Account number[protected] in ICICI.Dwarakanagar branch, Visakhapatnam and I deposited a cheque of ( one lakh sixteen thousand four hundred and twenty eight) bearing the no. 297733 of SBI, dated 29/ 01/13 in ICICI bank, MVP branch, Visakhapatnam on 04/03/2013. The cheque was issued by the Post Master, Vetapalem, Prakasam (Dist) on maturity of my Recurring deposit.
When the enquiry is made on non encashment of money after a fortnight, I was informed that it may get late. After 21 days I received a letter from ICICI informing that the cheque was lost in the transit but was not cashed at SBI, Chirala, which has issued the cheque. On personal enquiry I was told to get another cheque from the Post Master, Vetapalem, Prakasam (dt) as the previous one was lost and not cashed. I went to Vetapalem, Chirala all over from Visakhapatnam to meet the post office for the same.
I was asked to wait as the post office of Vetapalem has to take permission from the head office to issue a new cheque. It has taken a few months to have the clearance. When I made a trip to chirala again for cheque I was informed to submit indemnity bonds from ICICI, SBI and myself. Again in the month of Nov 2013 I went to Vetapalem from visakhapatnam and submitted the same at the post office for getting a new cheque.
I had to suffer nearly for one year literally moving from one place another with the pressure on the mind as the cheque was for more than one lakh. I was put into trouble to look into other sources for money for which purpose I planned with the matured amount. Apart from the pressure I have to spend Rs.10000/- amount for my travels from Visakhapatnam to Vetapalem and Chirala. I lost the interest (12%) on the amount for one year that is Rs.12000/-.
In this regard I request to reimburse the total amount Rs.22000/- as I have incurred otherwise legally proceed.

Hi, I am having a salary bank account in ICICI Vakola branch from last two and half years and my account no. is[protected] My contact number is : [protected] I was just checking my bank statement and got the shock of my life. My account has been debited by MAB charges thrice in last 3 months. 26/12/2013 SMAB Chgs-Nov13+Stax 43.26 393.26 16/01/2014 SMAB Chgs-Dec13+Stax 43.26 393.26 22/02/2014 SMAB Chgs-Jan14+Stax 43.26 393.26 I tried calling the vakola branch at[protected] but there was no response. I don't have any mail informing about this MAB charges. I have no information from ICICI. No call, no mail and no msg. Now that I understand that ICICI bank has not informed me about change of balance system, hence any deduction from account for the same is totally wrong and if charges deducted are not credited back to my account then I will be left with no other option but to take this matter to higher authorities and Banking Ombudsman as this is CLEAR VIOLATION of Rule 8(1)(k) i.e. "levying of charges without adequate prior notice to the customer" of The Banking Ombudsman Scheme 2006.

I had taken a loan and settled the same in Jun2010. I even received a receipt and settlement letter for the amount paid. After a year when I applied for a car loan, it was rejected as my CIBIL showed my loan still showed as outstanding. When I contacted the bank they confirmed that the Executive who took the money from me had defaulted but my money was given to the bank but no settlement was done... After a few months of following up they assured me they would have it sorted out and clear my CIBIL record as well. Its been 3.5 years and I am still getting calls from collection agents every month for payment. I would like to take it up with Consumer complaints to resolve this for me at the earliest. This note is to express utter grief and harassment which I have gone throughbecause of ICICI BANK. I had a credit card from ICICI BANK with the number “[protected]” which I had stopped using in 2007. I changed my residence in 2009 and again in 2012 due tomy job. Since, I had stopped using my card; I never thought I will have toinform the bank about change of address or get it deactivated, as there was noamount pending in my knowledge.
On the 21st of February around 1 PM I received arude phone call from some person claiming to be sub inspector of Delhi Policeand having an arrest warrant under my name. He had all information of myprevious address on which the card was being issued and threatened me by sayingthat me and my family are in very serious problem. He mentioned he has alreadyinstructed the local police station to arrest me and bring me to Delhi by nextday and produce me in the court. Being a law abiding citizen, I requested himto let me know the case to which he refused and then upon severe begging askedme to speak to another person who is a high court lawyer and is handling mycase and subsequently gave me the “lawyer’s” mobile number.

Upon calling the lawyer, he mentioned I have financial dues of 2.5 Lakhstowards ICICI BANK and I have to appear in Delhi High court the next day. Irequested him to explain me the charges, to which he mentioned if I pay anamount of 41780 INR in the nearest ICICI BANK by 3 PM he would drop thecharges.
Having very little time, I rushed to the nearest ICICIBANK at Panjim Taleigao and approached Mr. Santosh, Deputy Manager of thebranch. In the meantime I got two calls from the “Police sub inspector” and atleast five calls from the “lawyer”. Upon asking the “lawyer” A/C number onwhich the money has to be transferred I was told a credit card number, whichupon checking by Mr. Santosh turned out to be my old card which I had stoppedusing in 2007. I asked for a statement to let me know the charges, which I wasdenied by the ICICI BANK branch stating they cannot give me the statement. Mr.Santosh assisted me in calling the customer helpline, who refused to send methe statement saying it has not been generated and will take ten working days.

In the meantime, I was constantly being called by the person claiming to be thelawyer and threatened to pay the amount or else face consequences. Mr. Santoshoffered me little help by saying that since I have not closed the credit cardaccount I will have to pay. Being scared and harassed by the arm twistingmethods applied on me, I paid the amount. However, the statement has not beensent to me till date. In my knowledge I had no amount pending to be paid forthe credit card and the amount paid is not correct.

I also wonder, if only a local address and mymobile number was enough to issue a credit card to me and if at all there was adefault why was I contacted after so many years and not before?

Sir, I humbly request you to address behaviour of ICICIBANK’s recovery which in my opinion is unacceptable and harrassing. I canprovide the mobile numbers and the names which were used to call me.

I am Saliha Nasline, Journalist with a leading English newspaper. I have taken an ICICI womens' account (No:[protected] three years back for some savings. I have joined RD of Rs 2, 000 every month so that I need not to keep minimum balance of Rs 10, 000. I have closed the RD after few months for personal use and again started in January 2014 for the same cause. The thing is I'm not complaining the bank for deducting MAB charges, but I don't know why the bank has been deducting the MAB charges of Rs 393.26 of previous years this year. For example, in my case the bank has deducted the December 2013 MAB charges in January 2014 and October 2012 and November 2012 MAB charges (393.26+393.26) on February 24, 2014. This is so annoying that the bank deducting charges in inappropriate time that too when I'm financially tight. I request you to help me to know proper reason for that or refund if possible. Thanks

Shopping was done for INR 1066 but Zambar charged us wrongly for INR 11066, which was voided by them later & we were correctly swiped for INR 1066. Now the issue is that our account has been credited for both the amounts – INR 1066 & INR 11066 but we have not received INR 11066 back in our account till date. Kindly look into the matter a sap. My name is Ravi Prakash Singh.Ihave a saving account number[protected] in ICICI BANK, Exihibition road, Patna Branch. On date 03/02/14 twice time the ammount of Rs. 1039.94 was deducted from my account in favour of VIN/DIGITAL without my knowledge. After talking with customer care, one ammount of Rs 1039.94 was returned back in my account on 12.02.13. The another amount of Rs 1039.94 is not returned uptill now. Self hold Privelege banking with ICICI bank and still they deduct charges like this. Do not understand the reason and all this happens without proper intimation. ATMDEC CHG/14-01-14/0125/25ST3 - Rs 28.09. The same has already happened prior also. This is unfair for Bank to charge customers

Unauthorized fraudulent credit card POS transaction of Rs. 176 till not reversed by ICICI bank credit card team, merchant never gave me any charge slip and unauthorized my card, ICICI bank provides me worst service.01/09/2013 74056633245000001057174 BIG BAZAARRs. 176.00(DR)credit card no: [protected]I will take legal action against ICICI bank if not reversed by ICICI. As it is unauthorized POS fraudulent transaction court will order to reverse it with compensation amount and i will also get some benefit.

Hi I have tried to withdraw cash form HDFC Bank ATM which is a Non-Icici Bank ATM (Since my account is with ICICI Bank) on 7-Feb-2014, On first try after a long time cash was not dispensed from the ATM and I got a error message telling that sorry the process cannot be completed now. I once again tried with the same machine and the result was same, Then I thought there might not be cash and I tried with the other machine in same ATM Center for the third time and ended with same result but I got 3 SMS from ICICI Bank each with a debit of 1000INR for each transaction I tried. Then I went to a ICICI Bank ATM and withdrawn 1000INR for which i again got a SMS as normal process. After few minutes I noticed One Thousand was re-credited in my account and after few hour I tried calling ICICI Customer Care check/register a complaint and that officer told me to wait till that night and call them back on next day to lodge a complaint. So i waited till next day and on 08-Feb-2014 around 1 PM i again called ICICI bank to register the complaint, But the customer care officer told me that he will take a complaint for One Transcation (for 1000INR) and the balance 1000INR will be credited back as normal process and the complaint registration no given to me is SR[protected] I also got a mail conformation that the action will be taken with 1 Day. Next on 12-Feb-2014 I once again called ICICI Customer care officer to check and know the update on cash reversal I was once again told that the complaint taken on 08-Feb-2014 is only for one transcation and still once more transcation is not covered and he told there was a mistake happened in taking the complaint on 08-Feb-2014 and he assured that he will once again take a new complaint for both the transcation and demanded for the complaint registration no. For which i was told I will be intimated through Mail / SMS but I received nothing on that. But I got a below mail from ICICI Customer care telling that I will be paid immediately with the discrepancy amount on immediate basis but still ICICI reserve the right to debit the same in later stage if they can prove the amount is already recived by me through ATM / or else if HDFC bank is not paying back ICICI Bank, But in mail there was no reference like for which amount that mail was sent. I thought that, the mail was sent to me because of my complaint to the customer care officer and waited for that reversal to happen. But still on 14-Feb-2014 nothing happened and once again I tried to call ICICI Customer care officer, But this time I asked the officer to connect me to the senior supervisor but during the request itself my call was disconnected twice (don't know if it was accidental or purposely done), then I was connected to the supervisor and he checked for all the details and he was concluding me that Initial complaint SR[protected] was registered against the one thousand which was already refunded to me, I asked him why should I complain for amount which was already paid to me, Please re access the recorded call and know what exactly has happened and how many effort I have taken to get this money back, He told simply sorry for the inconvenience caused and he told I should wait till 18-Feb-2014 i.e seven working days form my complaint starting form 10-Feb-2014, I asked him see I tried to complain on 7-Feb-2014 & again on 8-Feb-2014 as I have written above but the customer service gave me wrong commitments and statements, But the supervisor simply told I should wait till 18-Feb-2014, Then I asked him to provide the reference no for the telecon which i had with him and he gave me the reference as SR[protected]. I also was shocked to hear that, Actually while I spoke to the customer care officer on 8-Feb-2014 I demanded for a call back to confirm me once the amount is getting credited, But this supervisor denied that there was no such request taken. I really don't know how come customer care persons are giving wrong information's/statements/commitments despite of knowing their own process. Best Regards / Jayakumar.D
