[Resolved]  Income Tax Department — PAN and Aadhaar Linking payment not refunded

On March 28, 2023, I made a payment to the Income Tax Department for Aadhaar and PAN card linking. The amount was debited from the account, and when I checked the status in the income Tax portal, it says Transaction failed. I have also contacted the Income Tax Department, and they asked me to contact the respective bank for a refund. However, the Axis bank said" We would like to inform you that as per the bank records, the transaction amount of Rs. 1000.00/- was successful and the same has been routed to the vendor". the same has been posted on Twitter but no response. Kindly check and update on the refund status.
