They have a glamorous name "india institute of planning &technology foundation" and they call themselves as part of mumbai university. Whenever you call them the executive picks and starts with "hello mumbai university..."
On 27-may-2019 i paid them ten thousand rupees through paytm on request of shraddha kadam (Ph:[protected], an employee of the institute.in return they promised my wife simi adhikary an admission to a college under mumbai university for bed course. Initially we though that the admission process would genuine.
About 20 days later, during course of discussion, i came to know that they employ fraudulent ways of admission to the colleges. They offered my wife an admission to last year (2018) in a way that the 2 years bed course gets completed in just one year. The also used terms such as ‘managing the attendance’. It was then that i realized their malpractice in the admission process. I asked shraddha for a refund under the pretext that i got a job in another city and that i don’t an admission for my wife. She made many excuses saying that my documents have already been submitted to the college for admission. It was a lie as i never gave her any documents of my wife. Later she stopped picking up my phone for some days.
Thus to expose them i told them that i was ready to pay them the remaining installments and invited shraddha to my house on 29 july 2019. It was then that i planned to record the conversation in a hidden camera.
Shraddha admitted that she pays forty-five to fifty thousand to the college staffs to commit the admission fraud through ‘managing the attendance’ and other things.
They lie to the clients saying that the admission process is already under way. Thus, they take the initial amount from their client, way in advance before the admission process begins in the colleges. They do this so that the client will not have the opportunity to explore any other options of admission and will be left with the only option to pay the remaining amount to the institute. This is one of their modus operandi which i understood in due course of time by talking them.
Rashmi upadhyay (Ph:[protected], head employee of iipt, is an accomplice in this kind of fraud committed by iipt. They charge a hefty 1.45 lakh as fees for bed, which is way higher than the usual university charges.
