Indian Overseas Bank — Complaint pertaining to Interest paid for RD Pre-closure

Dear Sir, I have an account in your esteemed bank, Branch : SIVAN CHETTY GARDEN in Bangalore. I have very recently completed 25years of happy banking with your esteemed bank. Last month i had pre-closed a RD (10 days before the maturity date) and as per the banking rules, the original interest rate would reduce 0.5% from the original rate of that was booked. I agree with this, The accrued interest was Rs. 11, 000 for one year, but the branch has deducted 2500 rupees. Just because i pre-closed it by 10days before the maturity date, This sounds RIDICULOUS.. and purely unfriendly gesture. Kindly look into this matter and do the needful please.
