Indoasian — Cheque stopped by company without any reason

I received salary of 12 days through cheque on dated 10th of May for april month. As i deposited the cheque next day in bank for encashing it, i got the money on the very next day in my account, and same whole amount was debited from my account. I checked in bank for same they told me cheque was stopped by drawer and handovered me the return check with cheque memo. As per rule this was illegal thing done by the company to the employee. I own that money completely, i called at the company on HR's no, i asked her why this was done, but she responded very rudely that, company has done all good.
