[Resolved]  Institute Of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) — SIDBI online exam officers grade A couldnt reach center

Sir, I have applied for SIDBI online exam officers grade A . Reg no: 80082510, held on 3/09/2014. It is really disappointing that I, along with many candidates from Trivandrum couldn't attend the SIDBI ONLINE EXAM-OFFICERS GRADE A held on[protected] at Noorul Islam University, Kumaracoil, Thuckalay, Kanyakumari as we couldn't reach the destination on time due to heavy rainfall, after travelling around 400Km, from Wayanad district to Trivandrum..Normally it takes two hours of journey to reach Kumaracoil from Trivandrum and because of the heavy rainfall and the traffic block caused due to it it took more than 4 hours of journey to reach the destination. It was a BANDH in kerala on 02/09/2014. So I could only reach Trivandrum only at 7 am, after travelling all night. I started to Kumarakoil, Noorul Islam University at 10 am, hoping to reach the centre by 11.30. But unfortunately, we reached only by 2.05 pm. We pleaded with centre head, but he said TCS and SIDBI has no responsibility, and they didnt allow us to write the exam. I like to bring it to your notice that we all opted for Trivandrum centres but were allotted Noorul Islam University, Kumaracoil which is in Kanyakumari district, and in another state, which is around 65-70 KM away from Trivandrum and it doesn't serve the purpose of opting for centres. I request SIDBI and the IBPS authorities to look into it and provide all the candidates who couldn't attend the exam because of severe weather conditions a second chance to attend the EXAM at a nearest center.
