My name is Kiran Reddy and I am US citizen leaving in India. Recently I came across a online training company named Intellipaat and after some research on some course I got approached by marketing / sales member by name Ankur and was told about the course in Phone conversation. I wanted to take self study course for Tableau Developer. As it would be very tough to know the quality of online self study I did had conversation with Marketing / sales person Ankur on quality and as well on refund in case I don't like the course. After getting quite a few calls I final enrolled into course for which i paid $351.20 on Feb 21st, 2017. As marketing person did give me confidence that in case i do not like the course I will be refunded so I went ahead and enrolled. After reviewing the first few parts of session i realized that course explanation was not as expected so immediately notified Intellipaat about my concern and requested for refund. After almost 50 calls and quite a few emails (Did not get any response from either marketing or support team).. Even today I am waiting to hear back from Intellipaat about refund. The sad part is that so called startup did not even care about making one call to discuss about issue. When ever i was able to get support team to talk to me I got response saying that issue will be taken and payment will be processed in few days etc.
In my final call I was told they did review the logs and found that I did not use the course much and have notified payments team about usage. At the same time I was told that i might not get payment back.
As i do not want such experience for anyone else I am bringing this to consumer complaint Please let me know what options I have..In the world of top customer service Intellipaat being startup has failed miserably in communicating and keeping customer experience pleasant.
