International Institute Of Fashion Technology [Nift] — My gen-EWS category is not being recognised

While filling the NIFT form in January I selected OPEN category. But my father DIED in March and due to this my family income has decreased. Now i am eligible for EWS. I have got the EWS certificate as well.

The counselling has not started yet and in April only i requested NIFT to change my category. They sent me two mails that they will do so. They even changed my category to EWS on 19th but on 20th changed it back to General. MY CATEGORY HAS BEEN CHANGED TWICE TILL NOW
But NOW THEY ARE DENYING to put me in EWS Even when my case is completely genuine.
