I was travelling in my car (Reg. MH14HQ2367) from Mumbai to Pune on 7th May 2022. I entered the expressway and paid INR 203 at Khalapur Toll Plaza at 07:26 PM.
However, while exiting the expressway at Talegaon Toll Plaza, I entered the fastag lane and I couldn't see any fasttag detector. The operator at the toll booth kept saying that I do not have enough balance as the amount to be collected at the toll was INR 67. Whereas I had a balance of INR 198 in my Paytm Fastag account (48 cash + 150 reserve). The operator asked me to pay INR 203 cash. This shouldn't have happened. I should not be punished for the mistake of a machine.
I have attached the screenshot of the paytm indicating the amount deducted at Khalapur Toll Plaza as well as the toll receipt at Talegaon. So I have spent a total of INR 406 on the expressway. Please refund me the excess amount I have paid at the toll.
