Please note that Ireo has cheated 300+ customers in Mohali by selling plots in development by the name of Ireo Hamlet. They used a company called Puma to cheat the customers. The project was sold in 2010 with completion expected in 2014/2015. Now Ireo is forcing customers to take the possession of plots without electricity or water connection, katcha roads, no sewage system, no boundary walls, no horticulture development. Infact they donot even have completion certificates or electricity or water connections sanctioned by the government.
Please if you want to verify further visit the government consumer forum site and search for pending consumer complaint cases filed against Puma. Currently there are 30+ cases filed. But it doesnot make any difference to cheat Ireo/Puma as they have salaried lawyers representing them who will fight the cases against helpless customers first in state forum, then in national forum and then in Supreme Court. Poor customers who invested there life savings are now helpless.
