[Resolved] Jabong.com — No refund, infact titled my returned product as "LOCAL" | |||
I placed an order having order no. [protected] on 8th of May 2015 which consisted of three items- Tommy Hilfiger Blue regular fit casual shirt, Tommy Hilfiger Navy blue hudson chino, and 20dresses black PU belt worth Rs. 12000. I received this order on 10th of May carrying both the items of tommy hilfiger worth Rs. 11132.00. When I saw the products, they were not what I had ordered so I thought of placing a return request for it. But to my surprise, the status which was displayed on the website read "order was returned back as it was not accepted by the user and the user has not paid", so I called the jabong customer care and when they checked with the courier department they corrected the status. Then, I placed a return request for that order and a representative named Ajay from BIBHA CARGO SERVICES pickup team came and picked up the order and handed me a receipt of it. I received a call from JABONG CARE on 18th May 2015 stating that the product received by them on 15th May 2015 is not the same product, and also it is "LOCAL" product that we have returned and hence, the refund cannot be initiated. We also asked (JABONG CARE) to send us the snapshots of the products if they think that the products sent by us are not genuine, or to return us the products themselves, but they refused bluntly and instead advised us to forget ₹11000/- or file a case against Jabong as they can`t share us the snapshots and they will neither return the products recieved by them nor investigate further. We also called BIBHA GUY named AJAY, and asked him about the verification he carried out at the time of picking up the two products. He said that the products were delivered to Jabong team on 19th May 2015, how can they give us a call on 18th May 2015, there is some misunderstanding. Also, he assured us of sorting the issue as he is confirming that he has collected the genuine product which was delivered to us. Afterwards, in clarification with Jabong team on this issue, he specified that Gojavas is claiming that they have picked up the products from us and have delivered to Jabong team - WHICH IS NOT TRUE.. This phenomenon of blaming an esteemed customer for fraudulent practice is very disappointing and disheartening for me as well as Jabong as a brand. Though to my best belief, I see a lot of misco-ordination and misunderstanding resulting into the mishap. But, this mishap is causing a BIG loss to me. Kindly understand and help me asap.
