[Resolved] Jaipur National University — Asking for extra fee even though the amount is paid - Change banking details without any communication - Penalized for delay due their miscommincation | |
I have taken admission in MBA course in Jaipur National University in 2015 and have student ID [protected]. The fee records were incorrect as it showing extra fee and were corrected only after the complaint was made on the 2nd March 2015 on the website. Afterwards, I made an transaction of Rs11500=00 on 05 March 2015, as mentioned by University call centre agent. However, the University again did not updated the records few weeks. Later, after requesting for many weeks to provide the reason that why the records are not updated. The call centre agent o[censored]niversity told that University has changed its banking details. And provided new banking details. However, fee records started showing a fine of Rs2000=00 for the delay, which was due change of banking details of the University and whose communication was not even sent to the students. The call centre agent Shruti informed, it is common problem faced by many students and asked to ignore penalty. And pay Rs11500=00 to new account details provided to clear account. Again, I paid Rs11500=00 on same day and provided the proof of payment. However, again the records are not updated for couple of weeks. And call centre agent start demanding fee which is already paid and proof sent to them.
In summary, due to poor communication of the accounts department the students are suffering. Sometimes, they are not provided new changed accounting details. And students are being penalized to pay fine for the communication gap from the accounts department. Even that is not enough, they do not even update their records even after the fee amount paid. On top of it, the University inactivates the account of the student for no fault of their to harass them. The students are at the receiving end due to unprofessional behaviour and attitude of the University, especially accounts department. Was this information helpful? | |

The university rolled back the late fee fine. Further, communicated the correct banking details to students. Hence, the issue is resolved. Jaipur National University customer support has been notified about the posted complaint. | |
